Nice to see you haven't surrendered to the old Soviet, Pro Putin (and bizarrely current German) scholarship that all American lend lease equipment was useless trash that was in most cases was not helpful to Red Army/Air forces during WWII . Also it was nice to watch the P-40 and Sherman videos, that in the hands of the brave and experienced crewmen, American lend lease a equipment could be use with great effect. Especially the Sherman. Which the RU-vidr The Chieftain aka Nicholas Moran has pointed out, that the Sherman's design was a compromise of tank that could be built in large numbers, be effective in a majority combat situations (only 2000 tigers I+II we produce out of 45000 German tanks) , and most importantly could be ship by current day cargo ships with hoists that generally had 40 tons limits across the Atlantic Ocean . I really enjoy your series of WWII combat videos and hope you continue ,they have been fun and enjoyable to watch

Amazing everything, I don't think you could get more cinematic with this game, or any WW2 tank game. Other than on the technical side of things, I just love your editing and pacing, you get right what most movies get wrong. That's got to be worth something.

People seem to forget that the Sherman was a very good tank for what it was designed to do, and could kill a majority of its German counterparts (Panzer III & IVs, SPGs, etc.) even with the smaller 75mm “potato” gun. Then there was its crew survivability; 3% KIA rate, the lowest of any WW2 era tank. Sure, when the big cats came around the Sherman was very much outclassed but those encounters were rare if that, and don’t get me started on the ease of maintenance. I’d imagine their Ruskie crews very much enjoyed the interior space.

Another nice vid mate.well done tank crew is really starting to look great. will add another new dimension to IL-2 GB series game play. Those tank crew look cool, I love the crew gestures, tank details (internal and externals). Nice job with camera work and sounds and story there.

As always with your more recent videos, your storytelling, mission creation and video editing are equally amazing. That attack on the outpost at the end gave me 'Kelly's Heroes' vibes.

Just for those who dont know, Yes, MG131 15mm machine guns can penetrate the deck of a T34 and even the roof or rear of the turret!

I really wish there were animations for the personel in IL2... it would add that last 10% to the immersion :)
