I feel the listener is sorta lonely. And making friends with the cute shy boy makes them happy. And it feels like they help people but no one remembers so they gave him the flower. I just imagine the cutie with his head on the listeners lap as they just relax together

Honestly, it's getting harder and harder to find "non-human listener" stories anywhere. And when you DO find one, it's a single episode. I love this so much, and can't wait to listen to the other ones!
