Hey there nice ride, i have a similar car, i did my swap way back in 2007,with the M50.I was the first to do this in Ghana and when i conceived this idea the Abossey Okine guys thought i was crazy .I did it despite naysayers and have been driving it all these years but withdrew it for a makeover, would have completed it but some mechanics in Koftown messed me up because it broke there so i had to fix myself. Now i do most of the fixing myself at weekends.It moves but there is a lot of bodywork , have to send it for the grinding of welding spots and primmer then a spray job.Trying to redo my seats now before spraying.Check your fuse number 10 12 or 21 , that could be why your cluster aint working ..If it still does not work get a good electronics chap to look at it.There is one at Mathaheko near the Sukura junction traffic light called Achia .What trans ratio are you using and which trans are you using.?> Getrag or the Zf..I have the Getrag 260 and a ZF310 on standby which i would be putting back in cos that came with the engine.That can make a difference to your power.These cars are appreciating in value all over the world, i have seen crazy swaps into this chasis, v8 v10 v12 engines and even the latest M3 motor.I can hit 100km/h in second gear and i have a trans and axle combo that can take me to 120 km/h in second gear but i dumped that.
Hi there! wow! its amazing hearing all this, some of these mechanics dont like to educate themselves, had to do most of the research for this build, I have the m54 but i was loooking far and wide for the m50b25 but it seemed to be out of the system and i couldn't wait; reason i got the m54. For the gearbox Im running Gs5-39dz from an e39 diesel because i have plans of Turbocharging and that can handle the power for the mean time. My speedo works now realised a cable was disconnected on my axle, that solved it. Im able to hit high speeds only thing is the car shakes. Changed links, balancing and alignment aside that the car is good. Theres so much that can be done with this chassis, a guy i know is swapping a v8 into his another is swapping the s54 into his. Id like to see your car some time
Its his tuning guys that did that tuning,this is mild, i have seen worse ones,just last week i spotted a chap with a black E30 around Dansoman and his was crazy it pops with flames .The car was loud and fast a policeman pulled him over.
