i reckon by the end of the year the interchange will be completed. and sometime next year the M12 will be open to the public.

great, suppose another toll to consider when moving about? A class action on fuel excise needs to be considered to hold these politicians accountable for the deals done to create roads we have already paid for, and continue to pay for over and over and over.

The M12 is going to be Toll free. It says on the TfNSW M12 page

Well, I just had a look to confirm what you said as it was hard to believe, but to my amazement, it is true wow its the first motorway to be free in a while

Plus Elizabeth Drive is also being widened to four lanes between the A9 (Northern Rd) and the M7. Effectively that's an alternative to the M12 to the airport. Mamre Rd in from St Marys is also being widened, although that's more about improving access to all the new warehouses and industry north-east of the airport.
