Why are people acting like this is only modelling channel on youtube? Give the guy some slack, he has a business to run. His success is victory for all of us since we will get more really cool models to build. You can find literally thousands channels of people making models, but only a handful of people that actually release their own models.
. Andy, I bought the first sherman tank that came out and was very impressed with the detail that was put into it. It really makes the model stand out. It shows that you care about your modelers that want detail. You keep doing what ur doing cause u made us happy in the plastic modeling world.
It's very cool how you're having these kits designed and built, Andy. Congratulations on a brilliant undertaking. I just wish I had the space for them on my man-cave shelves...
Andy, thanks for including Canadian decals, we used most of the same equipment in WW2, so it's nice to include our decals so we don't have to source them aftermarket! This will be my 4th pickup of the AHHQ line, and hope to add more later.
I hope the profiles show the wiring even though we will have to scratch build it. I'm glad you are including the labels and data plates. it bothers me that they don't get included on planes and AFVs.
Terrific stuff, Andy! It's fantastic to follow your journey turning your passion into a world wide brand with your own models. Amazing! My guesses on the non WW2 models are either a WW1 British tank (unlikely but it'd be wildy cool) or an Abrams or Bradley, especially now that they're seeing a lot of action in Ukraine.
I cant wait to add Another Andy's Vehicles to my collection...the little woman is getting even more annoyed since I started with "bigger" 1/16th scale from 1/35th. She is mad I haven taken over the living room and tv room curio cabinets. She says leave them in your Man room, I told her well where do the 3d printers go then? on a serious note ..great work on the details. Cant wait to build it!!!
Very interesting. As someone with ambitions toward starting a scale model business (over in the UK), it's reassuring to see efforts like this filling in gaps in the 16th scale range 🙂👍 Keep up the great work. I also heartedly suggest the *A13 Cruiser III* as a future project. There's two known examples still in existence at Bovington for reference, and the Tank was not only the first non-soviet adoption of J Walter Christie's concepts, but was also the direct precursor of Crusader, Cromwell & Comet 🙂 .
Designig 3D plaques for the breach as not decals, im just waiting for the kit coming out! Done the 50cal, radios and bent over antennas so can get the tie down look, doing wheels n tyres weighted now and barrel is next can't wait for this!
Wow...this may well be the first one I buy in this scale, it looks amazing, well done to you and your team of guys putting this together, any possibility of adding the wiring guide to the instructions Andy ?
@@AndysHobbyHeadquarters This has to be the best kit yet.I think with all the detail including so many decals this is an outstanding effort. Please make a steel wheeled Tiger soon to complement the early one. There isn't a good one in your budget range from anyone.
The one thing that I THINK is missing is a vertical ammo ready rack that was mounted to the fighting compartment floor. I remember reading an article by Steven Zaloga in Military Modelling when he did the Tamiya M8 and he scratch built the ready rack. If I remember correctly, the recon units in armored divisions had the ready rack for their M8’s. The recon units in Armored Cav and TD units didn’t.
Same re' one day having a Challenger 2 (Op' Telic) with full interior. It's mad that the Leopard 2 has so many interior options, yet the Chieftain, CR1 & CR2 have very little options for any scale.
Andy, Great kit. Mine is on pre-order. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for a 1/16 M42 Duster. Hurry, my fingers are cramping. It would be awesome. Something new in 1/16 and admittedly crying out for superdetailing; and all of our Viet Nam vets to do, so much easier to do with their failing eyesight (LOL!)
Hello mr.andy.your passion to satisfy the worlds modelling needs make you a shiny beacon in the moddeling world. With sticky greetings from brandenburg/Germany. Christian
In regards to the figures, please keep them young unlike many producers that seem to think the soldiers were between 45-65 years old. Also all those pictures, how about some figures in the same poses.Even the faces could be used on the figures. Also in one of the pictures you can see the co driver is wearing the tankers helmet not the steel helmet, could be an option of either in the two front positions. Also please have the helmets separate it makes painting a bit easier and basically looks better.
I REALLY REALLY hope it is a WWI 1/16th tank with interior... like an A7V or a Mk.IV... I would EAT that up!!!!! I prefer anything WWII and older, modern vehicles all look the same!!!
Hello Andy. I love kit (Merit) made the M53 & M55 howitzers. No one has made any review apart from two japanese. Would you find interest in this piece of US heritage? With all respect that you have much to do. Greetings from Sweden.
@iainmcevoy1762 😌👌 Both would also be ideal basis for the numerous variants both vehicles have had over the decades 😁 . The CVR(T) vehicle family would also be an ideal candidate 🤔 .
@alexanderfenning8648 Amen. R/C is a lot easier in 16th than in 32nd or 35th, and a lot more fun 😁👌. (plus unlike 1/12, 1/8 or 1/6 the result usually isn't do large or heavy that it requires multiple lads to carry the model around 😆)
Nice job as Always. But with this model of shoes ( rangers ) your M8 figures are not suitable for Normandy but later période as battle of the bulge or Germany.
Every cav unit in the US Army has one of these things parked out in front of the HQ building. I don't like the figure. He doesnt look right inside the AFV wearing an M1 helmet. He should be wearing a CVC.
Ok, but no news from other makes. No news or models 1/35 or 1/48 any more😢. So as this 1/16 stuff is not of my interest I can not give you an up thumb, sorry Andalucía.😢😢😢
