He saved hundreds of kids so they wouldn't have the trauma which he went through himself. Countless lives saved. He covered up his illness so nobody would make him stay back, he wanted to do it. He tried to commit suicide, but he was just left with a leg broken in 3 places. He saved everybody, over and over again, but they couldn't save him. He jumped into a burning building to save his best friend. He spent years trying to break out, and he had to break back in for their benefit. I took our time together for granted. His bravery, his courage, his near-victory. Its all gone, and now his body is in that city somewhere, and I'll never find it, because in his own words: 'If I could do it all again, and I wouldn't change a thing. I wish she would tell me how she feels about me. I wish she never made me think that she liked me if she was just gonna cut me off. I know she was just experimenting with me but that’s not fair because I actually fell in love with her. I gave her my heart and she just played with it. Now I lay here broken. I need to get this out there into the universe so I can finally let go. I love him with every bit of my heart but all he does is hurt me. I put in all of the effort and time and money to get absolutely nothing in return. I just want him to love me as passionately as I love him. Is hard, is one of the hardest things to do. But the fact that you finally see yourself worth, means you're halfway there. You just need to pick up the strength to walk away. I've been there before, I gave him my everything. My parents loved him. He called my mom, mom. I would do anything and everything for him. And I thought he was the one. All along he was cheating on me, and when I found out it broke me but yet I stayed for a year because I couldn't walk away...but he never loved me, and when I finally realized I walked away. It took me 5 years to get over him. 5 years to finally love myself. To let go of the anger and forgive him. Instead of regretting the time with him I learned from it, I learned what I wanted for me, what I need, and what I'm worth. A year after I found the most amazing guy ever. He showed me what true love is. What it is to give love and get loved, he is so patient with me, caring, gentle. I never thought I would find someone like that but fortunately I did. We've been together for almost 6 years now and in 4 months, I'll be giving birth to our daughter. Everything takes time. It will take time to heal. To forgive him. To find that happiness within yourself. But trust me, you're on your way, because you know you deserve so much more. Find the strength and walk away. Once you do, focus on you. Is gonna be hard, but it will be worth it at the end. And eventually you will find someone who will show you what true love is, what is like to give all your attention to one person and them doing the same. It will be hard, but trust me when I say this, at the end of all the pain, you will finally be happy.
And if he is your first love, you will always have love for him as person. Your heart will always hold a place for him. I've come to accept the fact that I will forever have love for my ex, not that I'm in love with him, but I will forever cherish the memories, he taught me what I want and dont want. My boyfriend knows this too. I can say I am completely and absolutely in love with my boyfriend and father of my first daughter. And I am the happiest I've ever been. Trust me, your time will come. But for now, you gotta walk away from the one person hurting you the most, and it will be hard, but not impossible.
Is like if M83 is preparing me for the next step in life, which for me is death. I think we shouldn't be afraid, for the worst things we live are during our lifetime. Death is like the payment for your long, or in some occasions short life. I look at the sky and ask myself: Why shouldn't I enjoy the universe that surrounds us? The fact that (mostly black) parents have to teach their children what to do if they get pulled over by a cop is disgusting. The fact that people hide their true sexuality because they fear that people wont accept them is disgusting. The fact that people are scared to admit their political/religious belief is disgusting. The fact that immigrant families are torn apart in heartbeat is disgusting. The fact that some people can be so alone in a large population of people is disgusting. The fact that someone is able to say that the 19th amendment should be removed is disgusting. The fact that girls in school have to wear clothes according to what wont "distract" boys is disgusting. The fact that people are able to use their voice to spread hate around the world is disgusting. The fact that people have to be afraid all the time is disgusting. it hurts my heart that most people in the world are constantly looking over their shoulder because they are scared.
