This song is absolutely sensational! My dad back in 2011was the one who introduced me to M83, and I’ve been in love with your music ever since. Hearing this track is such a refreshing experience-so different from your usual style, yet it still has that unmistakable M83 identity. Anthony, you're a genius! Been my favourite band since 2003. This is the best album as a whole that you've put out since 2011. So many great tracks on this album. It's different, yet still familiar. Looking forward to seeing you at the Roundhouse in summer.
This is so beautiful that I think we have a new contender for the background music for the next 20 films' "end credits" ... and about 8,000 upcoming car commercials.
God damn do I love this album. This album basically takes me to another planet. It's the ultimate dreamscape music. I didn't notice this song so much the first few listens, but it is now my favorite on the album. That synth outro that starts at 4:36 is great.
It's hard to describe, but this masterpiece brings almost instantly happiness and peace of mind as the overall theme changes at 1:30. Before that, the pretty dark sounds remind me of hard times and ugly situations (which can be symbolized as thunderstorms and rainy clouds), but after this mentioned change the song reminds me of good and happy times, in which I could live without worries and just enjoy life (can be symbolized as a sudden stop of raining, sudden shining sun - bringing warmness and bright light). This song can definitely keep up with other top songs composed by M83, for instance "we own the sky" or "wait". Speaking of wait, I can't wait to listen to this song in the future and rewind my time in high school with all the different emotions, which are described by this song - thanks M83!
ah man how does he do it, i've listened to his songs before, but only the most popular ones. i was on a flight home and couldn't sleep, so i started up fantasy (the album) on the console and this song took me out of the world just staring down at the 1am city skylines, thank you
thank you, this song is one of the few songs that make me jump around like a surexitedt child when I play the vinyl record. And most of the "few others" are also M83 songs. But this album is definitely special. As soon as I listened to it the day it came out, I rushed to a store and bought the vinyl, and listened to it maybe 3 times the same evening. Juste mesmerising. and honestly I didn't know one of your new albums could be as good as hurry up we're dreaming
