Isnt it beautiful how every soul who listens to this falls in nostalgia , happiness, empathy , gratefulness. This just completes life and takes me out to whole another level of liveliness, I just cant describe how good the feeling of listening to this is
You are the reason why western civilization is failing. this video is a globalist hipster fantasy. the music is good, thats why im here. but seriously, you suck. reevaluate yourself and your values
Arthur Swan I'm really sorry If my original comment was directed at you. I was trying to get off certain meds and the withdrawals were pretty severe. I hope you can accept my apology
@@danrich92 Hey man, I'm glad you apologized. I was on Gabapentin for a while and it made me quite aggressive. Since we're all going to die can we just be happy? Every man shares the same fate. I still love you.
I found this song by accident. I was sleeping left YT music on. Suddenly my brain woke up in the middle of this masterpiece. Once l watched the video listened to the music in conjunction it was magical.😢😢Enjoy your youth! Run, jump, enjoy your friends, first love qnd family. This is such a masterpiece 🥺💗🥺💗🥺l wish l could go back to hearing this for the 1st time again❤❤❤
I watched an interview with Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park and he said he was listening to M83. This was the first song I listened from them and I also loved it instantly!
There's something so beautifully nostalgic about this video (other than it being from 2009 ofc). Kids being kids and embracing how magical life can be.
Me:) I'm 47 years old. this makes me feel like I did at eleven years old. Riding my BMX, the sun and wind on my face and everything was possible. magic.
I absolutely love m83- nostalgia of '80's bands that were hard core synth musicians-like Front 242- DeadCanDance- New Order- Bronski Beat- ... I could go on :) As a 13 year old in 1982 until I was 20 in '89- these were the formative years of finding my own in music- I'm thrilled to hear a band like M83 mixing it all up in their own unique way-bringing tears to my eyes, as my heart skips a beat... I may be "grandma-age" at 49😂 but my soul is "forever young..." And so happy to hear the "kids" making music of their own, for my kids, for themselves, for us all...
+Josh Dierich I'm pretty sure you already know MGMT... Do you know Beach House? They have some really good songs and I get the M83 vibes sometimes. Especially with Beach House but also others like Dive or Heart of Chambers
Each shade of blue Is kept in our eyes Keep blowing and lighting Because we own the sky Secrets from the winds Burnt stars crying Soft, soft or cruel Can't we change our minds? We kill what we build Because we own the sky Secrets from the winds Burnt stars crying So many moons here Lost wings floating It's coming, it's coming now! It's coming, it's coming now! What's coming? What's coming now? What's coming? What's coming now? It's coming from the sky It's coming from the wind
This song is so melancholic and bittersweet. I was the age of those young adults in this video when the song came out... and it felt written for my generation. Now I just feel old and nostalgic listening to this lol.
I love this band!!!!!!!! And I just discovered them with Outro because of the Olympics Men's Figure Skating. I knew Midnight City but had no idea they were one of the most incredible bands I've ever heard. They move me to no ends.
This song and video reminds me of a high school Sunday School class picnic we went on in the early 70's. Oddly, the girls and guys were dressed much like in the video. I had a serious crush on a girl who looked a lot like the one who was focal point of this video. I never had the courage to approach her. We were throwing Frisbees instead of flying kites that day, but the vibe was much the same as the video. The setting ws in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains in South Carolina. Seeing this video hooks me back up with the special vibe I had that day back in 1971... it's truly incredible and the song just has a magical feel!
I never noticed how experimental this song is. All these angles of the identity of beauty that is rung in freedom of youth that your heart flies in, vibing with others like an infinite fountain inside raw sunlight . Have a good day. If not, a good attitude. You’re all beautiful
Brett O'Malley I’m pretty sure they aren’t a band....lol. I’m also pretty sure he would LIKE people listening to his song, as it is the reason he wrote it. I listened to it just now i’ll maybe listen to it again in a week or so, who knows, but I’ll be sure to tell everyone again when I do, since I know you love that. 😉
In my perspective there are three meanings of this wonderful video. 1. There is always someone who is going to understand u (1:10 - 1:14) 2. You can encounter something really bad, but once you understand it and overcome your fear it becomes something that's awesome because u saw it as an oppurtunity to break down the problem (when they faced d ships and enjoyed the confetti) 3. Things don't happen in the same place (twice), hence the bricks moved into the town afterwards
What an incredible experience it's been for me to be able to listen to m83 , they've been spreading kindness trough their work for years and... And that's what life is all about...
m83 music is everything! it takes you to another world. personally i liove to listen to it while skiing! you have to try it, fits perfectly: the sun, the snow, the mountains and just you, your skiis and the music
+schlumpfi10 this song is the best to listen to while riding a motorcycle. something about those 1am highway speed runs with m83 in your ears and the cold air rolling under your helmet. MAN!!! HEAVEN!!!
0% Curse words 0% sex 0% nudity 20% video/audio problems 1 trillion% Hard work This is one of the best/catchy songs ever and M83 is one of the best bands ever. Gold job!
At 45 this song makes me feel like I was back in my teens, hanging out with my college mates, with a whole world of new beginnings and adventure in front of me, when life was simple, innocent, fresh, carefree and unexplored.
This song was everything and more when I first heard it years ago. It stands the test of time. It takes you back, but also takes you forward. M83 is amazing.
I remember discovering this song on RU-vid as I was peaking after taking a big dab while studying statistics in 2012! I fell in love with the song instantly. I mostly listen to roots reggae but this song is one of my favorite all time songs. Brings back an incredible high feeling everytime I hear this 😂❤
This is what teenage-hood should be and feel like. It's so sad the negative music that is thrown at kids these days all about ass, money, drugs and bullying.
This video is negative, didn't you see all that litter those floating blocks were spreading all over the earth? Look at all that litter at 4:43!! Who's going to clean that mess?!
man i still remember the days i first heard this song back in 2010. electronic music was re-imagining itself and it was just incredible to experience with friends.
I remember watching this video 15 years ago knowing that these kids in the video were way younger than me and feeling like I was still young enough for it not to be weird to want to hang out with them.
this song means more to me than words. heard it without glitches and heard it with. that slight little pause only lets you reflect on whats going on in your life before it picks up again and you get lost.
I love this song ever since I heard back in the day I feel in love forgot what age I heard at probably like 16 I’m 23 now still my fave M83 medication to my soul
Remember youth when we were young. Days were endless, filled with wind and sun and friendship. Time was on our side and we would while away the momentum of summer. Laughter, joy and the promise of tomorrow.
I am still loving this song, hello from Ukraine. I had been listening to this song for 6 years before I graduated from Kyiv Taras Shevchenko University, it was so hard to learn mathematical analysis, I was depressed so much, but now I am remembering that time with a smile. Thanks so much, M83. Even if you have some hard times, never give up, try to find yourself in this life 😍, and listen to The Naked And Famous - Young Blood also!
Made it to 2021 babyyyyyy!! This song is the best, I’m 24, but years ago this was part of my life with my friends! I really miss them! We own the sky!!! That’s my motto for life
I listen to this song a lot (still) and when I do it just literally takes me to a whole nother world. It makes me feel so alive. I don't care how old this song gets it will always be a song I continue to listen to hopefully until the day I pass. I play it for my almost 2 yrs old daughter and she loves M83. I can't wait bc as she grows up I get to introduce her to amazing music and musicians like you all. Makes my heart so happy. Glad you guys are around making beautiful music. Thank you.
