@@haljam8828actually it depends on the style of the player usually coaches now days teach 2 handed backhand most of the time as it is easier and have advantage of the other hand for more power and stability naturally gifted aggressive players which is rare to find them can use one handed backhand as they are more of a attacking type players in the same time they can handle the backhand like stand wawrinka for example or Rodger
@haljam8828 I think what he meant was most kids start learning tennis when young and at 5 years old not many kids have the strength to learn the one handed backhand. Of course adults have the strength but these competitive tennis kids start young.
@@2terryh You're right. But what about the rest? The two-handed backhand has more advantages than the one-handed in modern tennis and that's the reason, why almost every pro plays the two-handed now.
@@harbilito4910 Those three's single handed backhand weren't good enough. Thiem's arm is too stiff, so all he can do is muscle the ball straight down the court, him not able to produce good angles with that silly stiff arm. Shapo a little similar to Thiem, in that he puts so much effort into the shot, without much feel for the ball. Tsitsipas's is a little better than the other two. It's his mind that needs to be better. It's Wawrinka's beautiful backhand they need to try and copy. What a shot that is when he's at his best. No wonder he won 3 out of 3 slam finals.
Very happy to see this awesome youngster keeping the one hander alive! Just hope this beautiful one hander isn't his weakness once he hits the college level or probably the atp tour! 👍👏

I’m not surprised anymore when I see kids playing tennis so well. Start them young because they can go on for hours. I remember when I played as a junior. I love playing on the court for hours on end without getting tired. Today I would pat myself in the back if I can last an hour on the court rallying with a friend.
You can tell at 9, his hero was Gasquet with that backhand wind up and follow through. Then he evolved it to be more like a mix of Federer and Wawrinka.
