It can't be stated enough with how that FH from Ma Long there at 1:26 defied the laws of physics. That ball was so low, spiny and for him to be able to loop that back at that angle & with enough spin to bend it in is nothing short of superhuman.
Whoever took and edited the video knew what they are doing. Perfect perspectives, zooming and editing. I hate it when people switch cameras in EVERY serve during a game.
I know what you mean. Especially a closeup when serving and suddenly the next frame will be the whole table. The viewers couldn't see whether the ball went.
this game is so taxing on the legs. ppl who don't play competitively: "they barely have to run. why is this a sport" dude, squatting requires 3-6x more energy than running and you have to move while staying that low throughout every point. so fkn tiring at high levels
Its not 1X speed. Prolly around 1.1X. I did film a lot of table tennis match and this look exactly like what I've seen before when u push it to 1.1X playback.
They are crazy fast because they play close to the table, like the women but with much more force. This is a different style for them so I wonder when this took place. A recent trial? Is LGL instituting a new Chinese table tennis now? It's more powerful and exciting than the Japanese close to the table flat hitting style.
When I watch this in 2022, i realized that both of them are just normal chinese player. Because they have one more player that are really crazy style of play, Wang Chuqin.
Ok, you know that we - the viewers - can just click back to start the point over if we wish to see it again, right? There's no need to keep replaying the same point over and over.
