Shandong Luneng vs Shanghai Real Estate Group | Match 2 ========================================= I'm partner of ETTU (European Table Tennis Union) and other national associations. #tabletennis #pingpong #乒乓球
For the love of Odin, guys, the match is new, today. I don't post old games as if they were new. If I post an old match, it will be in the video description.
@@MicaelAlastor я бы понял он действительно играет в пол силы если бы соперник не выкручивал периодически крутые темы. А местами даже и захватывал нить игры
Nooo Ma Long was playing very different from normal today. Much more passive, letting opponent take control of the point, playing less power and more spin, placement, and pace change instead of pure power and killing the ball. He is getting old, less footwork, gets tired quicker, I feel if he lost the fours game he would have lost the match since he was slowing down and losing physical strength. You see him use much more chop blocks, inside out backhands, slower, spin based forehands to the elbow instead of full power down the line like in the past. He is adapting to his age and using all the tactics available to him, but I feel he still won't qualify for the Olympics this year, he is just too old. Really tragic to think about but it is a truth we have to face.
@@bryanwells4063What tragic mate are you brain-dead? He is 4 times world champion and holds most olympic medals. Nothing tragic about his course. He was and IS an absolute beast of a player
I think he is adapting to his age. I think he is getting tired quicker, trying to use less footwork and stay closer to the table. Using much shorter strokes, utilizing spin, pace, and placement change versus just overpowering the opponent. He knows he is lacking power now with all the young new players. I really notice it with his slower, spinner forehand to the elbow instead of the kill loop down the line that he usually uses. Equally effective but much safer and less stress on his body. The fanning backhand, the chop blocks, I think he is trying to really increase his tactics and borrowing from truls moregard style of "flowing" type playstyle.
The first 6 point were his normal play style, I think he realized he would get tired playing that way the whole match and switched to his different tactic I mentioned above. Had to adjust, that why opponent caught up to his 6 points, but then he adapted and took the game with his easier, less stressful playstyle
@@bryanwells4063even if there is some merit of truth in what you say, it just shows once again his strategic genius. He was always great at reading both his opponents and himself
@@cocochocko3783 , China's lost generation of penholders. None good enough. Felix Lebrun is an exceptional talent. Way better than that Chinese generation.
A few people like to call this Ma Long guy ONE of the greatest of all time because he can only serve from ONE corner of the table. So, when I beat him because I can serve from both corners. Will they be calling me TWO or TOO of the greatest to ever play this game? Or maybe just THE greatest . . . would be fine by me. Edit: 12/23/2023 -- I wonder who gave me a "Thumbs-Up" today. Can't be my mother. She's been dead for over 7 years. I am so LUCKY!
I lose faith in humanity when i see that someone could make such a blatantly stupid comment over and over again. Cry about it. Only serving from one side of the table is a stylistic choice and it doesn’t mean they can’t serve from the other side, just that they choose to because they either play to their advantages or they feel more comfortable. There is not a single problem. Why don’t u try beat them?
