Hahaha ! Thanks for posting - who WOULD have thought it.... this is what they did with all the M44s & M66s imported there those many decades ago. A novel way of converting the machine - but never thought o using the variable speed Belt drive instead of changing gear? Amazing the driver kept it straight with the rear steer - Hat-tip!
