BBQ chicken wings. And not the bullcrap sauce like open pit .real sauce sweet baby Ray's Authentic Mexican food. Not tacobell. Jumex mango juice You people always give the most generic foods and give fresh cooked meals of the same kind bad names and cause whole countries of people to hate it and have false opinions
Good quality chocolate. Dark and milk varieties. Maybe Lindt Excellence Extra Creamy and Lindt Excellence Orange Intense. New York style strawberry cheesecake. (But I suspect that would be hard for you to procure on location - you'd have to make it yourself.) Any northern hemisphere fruit that they might not have there. Like, do they have blueberries? Really good, fresh, hot pizza. With stretchy mozzarella on top. Also, could you play them some opera and classical music? Is that something that would be new to them? I'd love to see them hear, for example, The Flower Duet or O Mio Babbino Caro or Casta Diva or Der Hölle Rache, or Hall of the Mountain King or Spring or Claire de Lune or... well, you get it. Tuna/egg/dill/mayo salad. Pancakes with butter and maple syrup. Or crèpes with whipped cream and strawberry jam. Would ice cream be new to them? Because if so: ice cream. GOOD ice cream. Haagen-Dazs. Maybe keep it simple and just go with plain vanilla? Nutella. With a spoon. Corn flakes. But don't let them get soggy. Oatmeal. Walnuts. Do they have walnuts?
Yes. I cannot stand people who say Africans like we are all the same. As much as I appreciate this video, I also do not like how many videos have an inaccurate representation of Africa, making many to believe their are no urban areas.
@@Laiser it really annoys me because when they talk about Europens they classify whether it is the Italians, the English or French etc but somehow with Africa they can't just say Nigerians, Kenyans, Somalians etc they say Africans
I guess after eating mostly natural home grown fruits, vegetables, grains and meats the taste of over processed snacks wouldn't be agreeable to their palates.
I had a high school teacher who took his sons to the woods for a few weeks of vacation and just ate off the land with a few natural emergency provisions. He said on the drive home they stopped by a McDonald's as a treat. They couldn't eat it. They thought they had a bad batch but everyone around them was enjoying it. They tried it again with the same results. He said it taught him a lesson on what we've become accustomed to.
Memcha Laishram sure but if they were to bring Kenyan food to North America and have people try it we would be considered extremely rude to spit it out like that and make faces.
@Memcha Laishram I think it's also because the crew doesn't really explain how those made or cooked, what ingredients they have... That's why they are more reluctant to taste it..
@@joygernautm6641 they live in a place with no proper environment you cant blame them but eventually they need a little education because it is a bit rude
I swear I ate a chocolate swirl something that was brown with white filling - the poop came out solid green! My sweet tooth hasn’t been the same since 🤣
@@kevinreese8224 😂😂😂😂 hahahah yes that happens sometimes if you eat too many sweets but usually if there’s dye in it idk what they have going on in those swirls.
All British food is the worst ever. I could blind fold myself & throw a dart at a map & hit a country in the west that makes better food. When was the last time you went out for "British" food?
@Johny Myers yeh right? wtf is she talking about it must be weird eating processed foods when you're so used to eating feces, sand and literal fucking dirt cookies...
They are beautiful indeed! ..my first reaction to the taste of soy milk was the same lol 🤣... we are creatures of habit. Now I am vegan and, to my surprise, have acquired a taste for it, though admittedly it's not as tasty as cow's milk to me. It is a good thing that we do not live and eat for the palate alone, but to love and be in harmony with all of creation🙏🏾
That is not America, that is the Masai people traditional, cultural customary hair cut. It's a no judgement zone. WE respect their heritage without passing judgement. That's why the beginning said Masai people tasting American snack for the first time. They live and survive the same way as their forefathers before them...and so on. Meaning other Kenyans living in other areas are familiar with those snacks.
Very I got Covid and my taste buds was so different I taste all the chemicals in our food I was so sad. This is the food we feed our children. I'm on Keto diet now more healthier way of saying
I mean not really, they are just used to eating different foods. I remember visiting Germany when I was younger. The whole trip I ate nothing but weinerschnitzel. Everything else tasted terrible.
yeah plain one is gross, especially unsweetened, vanilla or strawberry or chocolate or whatever, are good. Plain one I just use for flavoured cereal or recipes. Or when ordering at starbucks.
The EU is working on legislation that will forbid companies to refer to their products with the proper noun of natural produce. For example, they will no longer be able to call their vegan hamburger, a 'Hamburger'.
Well... what about the Mexican drink "Horchata"? Rice milk. You can make milk out of rice. In fact I believe Soy Milk was invented by asians.. which makes sense since they eat soy as in tofu and other things containing soy. So it cant just "be lies and bs from the west" thing.
Lol,... she did a u turn spitting out the chocolate or cookie... am not sure which ... but she was so convinced that everything is gona be crap, she may well treat it as a wine tasting🤣🤣🤣 ... until the classic defeat by processed 'sugar'. The world over, processed SUGAR sadly remains undefeated and has destroyed even the most primitive and discerning of tastebuds with enough exposure to it.🙈🤷🏾♂️
Derek Charette Are you actually serious? It’s always the fool who thinks they’re the smartest. You can’t compare two countries especially if they’re both in different developmental stages. Without Life Extension technology America would have very poor numbers as well. I agree with the sentiment that there are a lot of toxic environmental factors, especially in developed first world countries as well. It’s easiest to avoid environmental factors that decrease your health by consuming quality animals. With very limited amount, or (more optimally) eliminate plants. Among other factors Next time, don’t base your entire argument on a strawman.
I fasted for 3 days once and the first time I tried a chocolate bar I was amazed at how you could taste all the grains of sugar in it. When you're not used to it you really can taste all the crap they stuff inside it.
ha, I can relate to all these reactions 100% I'm from Eastern Europe, grew up eating mostly from my grandma's backyard, so everything processed just feels off lol
She said, "I see my food and cook my food so I know what's in it..." That's the truth because you can't pronounce nor identify the ingredients in store purchased snacks. Also all dehydrated stuff probably drying us out inside too...
„These days“ lol, soy milk was widely popular in Asia during the 19th century. Just because it gained some traction in „the West“ recently doesn‘t mean that it‘s something new. It‘s also really good and healthy if done properly.
@@tundehixon1919 dude did you vote for trump? You so badly wanna be a victim...that is old woman..check every video where old people don't even wanna give chance to something new..but keep being a victim lol
@@geletoz I don't think it's an old people thing and I don't think it's cultural either. You are the one tripping because I posed a question. I didn't judge. I just asked. Yet you are bringing trump into this and calling me a victim. Smh.

@King Krispy The Mediterranean diet (includes Western food) is considered by experts to be one of the healthiest of the world. Do you think Western food only includes processed food?
@@HNuur1 That's why I said I was blind. The lady has no feminine features. You can call me dumb, bigot but I'm just realistic. whether you like it or not. and her action is so artificial. Why it has become a problem to be realistic towards the black population. Yes, there are many who are not beautiful, as in any race. But that exaggeration to say that everyone is beautiful has become so irritating that it is unbearable. The woman has masculine facial features and the end of the story, you can pretend as much as you want
In conclusion, regardless of where the black person is from, a timeless black American phrase can be used to sum up this experience "I don't play around, eating other people's food"
but black americans eat diagusting stuff tho, putting sugar and margarine everywhere, deep frying in disgusting industry oil and using cheap ass seasoning.... not all of course... the best food is from people who cant afford restaurants and fast food especially
@@l.n963 very interesting perspective...almost like a stereotype but then the “ not all” let us know that this is just your unique beliefs brought about by the many many black people who have showed you what they cook everyday. Not in a sarcastic way though...
@@lextherapy8208 🎯 they have no idea about our cultural food in the South. All they see is fried chicken lol so stereotypical. They don’t know about the Gullah geechee/SC dishes that have much west Central African influence
There's actually a condition common among Africans that makes us highly intolerant to high sugar foods. My first time eating marshmallows, I tried to hold it in, wound up throwing up. Had a bad week, like I was poisoned. Now imagine someone in her mid 50's trying to eat that. Yuck! Addendum: For most Africans it's usually a headache you get, when you try new food. Sometimes it goes okay, as long as you limit how much you eat...other times, you'll likely feel like you're dying.

@@selfmadechef6277 you said something really stupid. you don’t need to go to africa to know that. ever heard of the internet? life span of every country is literally so easy to find. african people live the shortest, that’s not my personal opinion or something, that’s a fact that everybody knows :D japanese and most european people live the longest, african people live the shortest. that’s known
@@renia.p Ignorant is bliss. When it's time to someone to die they is no like that someone is living longer here in this world . Everyone has their time to die . Note it down . My father lived long and passed away nearly 2 years ago . My grandmother she was a very strong women and she was old when she passed away and guess what we are African from somalian. My mom she is in TANZANIA and she is still alive and my others grandmothers who are very old and one is in UK but guess what their time is not in yet
@@munaismailmohamed8044 you’re all just proving that your intelligence levels are very low. your grandma might’ve died at an old age. that’s an exception. it doesn’t change the fact that the life span in countries like japan, italy is 85 years old when it’s 65 years old in tanzania. i’m sure there are japanese people who died young and tanzanian people who lived long. but that doesn’t change the big picture. those are just exceptions. african people live shorter, that is a fact, deal with it. you guys are so sensitive that whatever we say about you seems racist. life conditions in african countries are very bad therefore african people live shorter. that is a fact and you have no choice but to deal with it, it is not my personal opinion, it’s literally statistical data.
Their reactions in Kiswahili without the translation is even greater and funnier 🤣 Love it. Yenyewe, even meat and veges in America tastes flavourless if you've eaten the homegrown stuff. Thanks Tuko
A whole video showing how westerners are adapted to sugar. The lack of sugar in African diets makes it tase weird when we load our snacks with it. It’s not “chemicals” or anything else they’re tasting. It’s sugar.
THIS WESTERN TRIP LEAVE RUSSIA NOW AFRICANS CALLIN US WESTERNER MY GOD 6 YEARS AGO YOU HARDLY IF EVER.BE CALLED "WEST"WESTERNERS" SO sugar not part of African diet So where this high diabetes coming from COLONIAL INJECTING BUSHMEAT
That might be part of the reason but not the whole reason. Otherwise why didn't they like the popcorn, which appeared to be unflavored, but liked the cookies, which almost certainly had a fair amount of sugar?
It's not about sugar really. Most African food specifically Kenyan food is made with natural ingredients and fresh vegetables and fruits. Processed foods don't have as much salt and sugar as those from Western countries. Also, they do not consume that much sugar and salt because they mostly eat their traditional foods without it or with little amounts of it.
Some African countries don't eat that much sugar but it doesn't necessarily means they eat healthy too. I'm a Brazilian married to a Ghanaian, I hear like at least twice a week "you Brazilians eat too much sugar", and then he proceeds to put two maggi keeps to cook one pot of jollof rice. The oil + artificial spice + pepper they use is way too much, and I know some people in their 20's with high blood pressure and cholesterol problems.
I have to stop watching. Terrible video becasue of the selections and looked very scripted. I've seen much simpler ones similar that were much better and entertaining.
@@satsumamoon You're right. I WILL have a handful of chips, tho, if anyone offers. The only good cookies are homemade...put in oatmeal and about 1/4 the sugar called for in the recipe. Add unsweetened coconut, a few pieces of dried fruit like raisins, and a few chocolate chips.
This is the purest thing I have ever seen! They are so damn cute! And yes, after eating stuff with no preservatives I'm sure our stuff tastes like crap! (Except cookies. I'm down with them on that)
I remember years ago given my great great aunt chocolate she refused to eat it she said it was too sweet and it was hurting her teeth. She died in her 90s
Wow actually hurt her teeth ?? Its amazing what weve gotten used to even tho it is poisen, I cant imagine not likening chocolate...may ur great great aunt rest in peace
Oh how i wish this was translated to English. I love "Spit Lady" in blue. Her reactions were priceless. I was hoping she liked the cookie and didn't spit it.
@Jenni J these people have no idea what processed is and unlike people in the west they are not as refined as you'd like them to be. They spit the food out....so what? 🤷🏾♀️ These are village people who are not your kids. You cannot even compare so don't.
@Qimodis she is, it lowers my testosterone, i feel like a girl drinking that shit, like i take a sip with my thumb and pointing finger, and stretch out my pinky finger when i drink that shit
I find this so interesting how someone's palette differs because of the different cultures we grew up in. Like acquired taste, some people grew up liking the taste of a chocolate while others don't like the taste of it.
It kind of seems like they gave them the shittiest versions of each one. If you're going to have someone try potato chips (crisps) for the first time, don't use freaking Pringles. And that didn't look like a chocolate bar to me.
I love their honesty 🙏 honestly I can't stand snacks either, with an exception to cookies 😂 Can we all appreciate their clothing? Wow 😍♥️ I hate soy milk too, ill only drink almond or oat milk.
i’m so glad the guy that ate the chocolate chip finally found something that he liked 😂 he said the olives weren’t that bad either. i love this video. Please make more
