She is a good sister and he is a good brother, do you agree?
I find them adorable and good siblings but what makes my blood boil is those who keeps talking about Mabel like she is the worst sister ever. All that because she teased him?
@@adhamahmed97 no not bc of that, but i think it's more bc ppl think Mabel is selfish, that ahe only thinks of herself and does what she wants to do, disregarding of others' wishes or smth like that. Or then it's bc she trusted Bill who was disguised as Blendin Blandin to hand him the rift between two dimensions (the nightmare dimension where Bill lived and the normal dimension) which then led to Bill breaking the rift and causing Weirdmageddon, which then in turn fans think was all Mable's fault.
@@thelonevoid621trust me, they use every trivial thing she did that annoys Dipper to say that nonsense "Mabel is toxic to Dipper" like laughing at him when Stan asked him to get rid of a bat giving him a hard chore, I mean that's pretty normal for siblings to laugh at each other, isn't it? And Dipper was mocking her as well and little Dipper was not the only episode where he ever teased her and besides no one says "yeah but Dipper apologized and Mabel didn't", her explaining the reason why she teased about his height in a sad / remorseful tone and telling him that he can be at equal height with her if he wanted, is considered an apology and showing remorse enough. Someone doesn't necessarily have to say sorry or I apologize to fully ensure that they apologized. It is just the haters are pathetic kids who have anger issues and trust me they may be adults grown ups but their brains are as small as kids'. Heck even kids *themselves* who are literally under 13 wouldn't say that Mabel is terrible because that's not true! Don't let them manipulate you into hating her!
You've no idea how much. When Bill possessed Dipper, he planned to have the boy's body take a deep dive towards the ground, and left a note to Mabel inviting her along, knowing full well she couldn't live with the idea of her brother being alone in the limbo because of the fact she did not act sooner.
@@JabamiLain Well I did know about Bill's plan. Dipper was impatient and he could have just waited for Mabel to finish her play. She promised she would help him however she realized the error of her ways, she felt responsible for what happened to Dipper, saved his life and apologized to him twice. It is really irritating anyone who says:"oh she admitted she dodged a bullet, she didn't sacrifice anything and she is consequence-free.". No she is a good sister to him and she also learns from her mistakes and faces the consequences like Dipper. At the end, she grew as a character.
My best friend in elementary school and I were obsessed with gravity falls. Like… obsessed. Bought the journals, binged the show, cried when it ended. We would call each other Mabel and Dipper, and i still haven’t changed his contact name despite the fact we aren’t as close and literally in highschool 😭
I always had this adorable headcanon that, when they were babies, Dipper and Mabel hated being separated. Any time they were, they’d cry and wail until they were reunited.
Its honestly really wholesome when dipper just gets involved in mabels craziness. Its a nice reminder that despite basically starting a chain reaction which both started and ended the apocalypse, they are just kids at the end of the day.
They both galance each other out perfectly. Dipper is more lawful neutral while Mabel is more chaotic neutral. Dipper is more serious while Mabel is more care free. WE NEED MORE!!!
Tbh In s1 ep9, Dipper did the right thing by sacrificing his time with Wendy to make her have Waddles and Mabel did the right thing too by turning Robbie into a laughing stock after he brought Waddles back to her repaying him. Right?
@@duduamrosh Honestly it was kind of selfish of what Dipper was doing cause sabotaging a relationship is bad but I'm glad he learned from his mistakes. Also Mabel of course was in the right. Pacifica having Waddles is worse than Weirdmageddon.

Yeah 😊😊😊 That's so adorable. Despite Dipper's serious personality, he becomes goofy when he is with her and despite Mabel’s silly personality, she becomes serious when she is with Dipper mainly. They are both good siblings to each other. I love Mabel more because of her kindness and support for him😊😊😊
@@Rayni_XZ.o well.... That really doesn't exactly make her an anti hero. Just because a character has selfish, jerkish, arrogant and lethal moments doesn't automatically make them anti hero. What makes a character an anti hero, mainly is why they fight for good in the first place. Anti heroes don't fight for justice or because that's the right thing to do something a regular hero would do , they do good either for selfish motivations or they just do it for the people they care about if the latters weren't involved, asked them to do good, they (the anti heroes) wouldn't care or they do questionable actions believing that's the only option which isn't actually. She and Dipper do good because that's the right thing to do. If there is an anti hero in the show, that would be Stan for example he only saved waddles just for Mabel, he wouldn't care about him if she hadn't wanted him. Don't get me wrong, I do love Stan, Dipper and Mabel as well. Sorry about the long essay.
I didn't grow up with this show at all. The only reason I checked it out is because my best friend raved about it and since I'm a 34 year old man-child, I gave it a shot. Best decision ever.

They hate on Mabel because they claim that she didn't face the consequences or even fix her mistakes and that's incorrect, we see her realize the error of her ways like Dipper from the first episode.

I wonder what kind of criticism is this? Complaining about Bill being the villain who is literally the only one who called her out for her wrongdoings while other characters including Dipper *ACTUALLY* called her out for her wrongdoings many times like forcing Stan to say the truth or for giving the monster he captured a key or even by another villain like Gideon who called her and her brother out for manipulating Stan? Or complaining about her lack of remorse for keeping several timez for herself which actually happened in the same freaking episode? You and I as we defend her, know keeping several timez for herself instead of releasing them, was wrong and selfish of her but they seem to deny that she actually showed remorse for doing so and ended up releasing them. They say "unlike Mabel, Dipper showed remorse and fixed the situation". Then what about boyz crazy or even into the bunker where she literally apologized and fixed the mess she created and we didn't see her repeat the mistakes afterwards? They say "we critze her writing". Again what kind of criticism is this?
@@duduamroshAnd they probably still aren’t satisfied after Lost Legends where she finally realizes her selfishness by dealing with a million versions of herself. I’m very positive that it’s canon because the journal she gave to Dipper is identical to the one featured in the physical Journal #3 and also because we saw at the end of the series that she was reluctant to leave Waddles behind, but knew she had to act by others’ wishes instead of her own and leave him behind. It’s ultimately because of Stan that he ended up going with them in the end.

Man, even when she relentlessly teases and humiliates her brother while uttering complete nonsense, Mabel still manages to come through clutch and be a gem, even saving the day and learning a lesson more than once. Must be the sweaters, lol.

I was on my way to a cosplay thing (something I don't do anymore, it was maybe 3 years ago) and I was going as Dipper Pines. I passed a girl, who was walking out, dressed as Mabel. We immediately pointed at each other and quoted them. "Mabel, do you believe in ghosts?" "I believe you're a big dork!" We laughed, she left, and I never saw her again.
