I know this is an old upload at this point.. but thank you for putting it up. Sometimes I just miss Mabi so very much. I never got very far in it tbh. Was too poor to really acquire the needful things to truly be powerful and it had such a learning curve when compared to others. But god do I miss what it was like. Mabi just hit all the right buttons for me. Whimsical soundtrack, interesting battle and level system, soft anime themes, slice of life feel, all centered around magic.. and most of all, a real, honest to goodness, awesome community. I can't count the times I logged in just to sit at some one's campfire and listen to music, hear tales.. or the times I would just be walking down a road and bump into someone who I could adventure with for hours on a whim. It didn't matter if a person was a high level veteran or a person who started an hour ago. All people traveled together, helping each other in their own way. It was neat. Even walking though towns full of player shops, people would chat and bater, taking trade deals, cutting prices if they liked you and it just generally felt like you didn't HAVE to be a great player to enjoy the game. Mind you, if you wanted to, the game itself was interesting too. I liked the hidden achievements, the little fetch quests, heck even the daily chores. Then the gold spammers came.. and they kept coming.. and the cash shop went out of control.. and the community feel apart. I still pine for Mabi, but it's just so broken now. This music though.. it embodies the mabi I remember.. the one I miss. It reminds me of a time when I was younger, roving through the wood camps, or the streets of Tir, wondering if being a cook was really worth it. It was a simpler time, a simpler game.. but so much more inviting.
This soundtrack reminds me of when Tir was the main sales hub, claymores were pro, mounts were the shit and you couldn't get into Ciar without lagging. ♥
+ Flutterbree I miss the days when ppl crowd around ciar more and i can't just 1 hit everything and party actually mean something and camping inside dungeons are fun and boss are challenging.

Carrying a lute or mandolin, we'd playing songs to random strangers we would meet walking through Dugald Isle, on their way to Dunbarton from Tir Chonail... When being level 400 was astounding, and level 1,000's were gods among men. The fabled heroes to challenge Peaca dungeon, and win. The holders of the legendary magics; Ice spear, Thunderstrike, and Fireball. The champions of light, able to overcome any challenge. Yet with all that power, they would always help the weak, and new. They would work beside new players, helping them to gather potatoes or eggs for part-time jobs. They would laugh, and lead communities, they would be the guardians of heroes who braved the fight against Glas Ghaibhleann. They wouldn't ask for anything in return. Friend to all, inspiration to some. With that power, they would find joy in even the smallest parts of life. Whether helping people in real life as a cashier, or playing songs to random strangers walking by from Tir. Oh, indeed. How I miss those days.
Drake Blue As an elf I started wandering around the city, noticing a human whom was an enemy to the elves. They looked at me and ran, I thought I was going to die, until they countered the guards and dropped 1,000,000 gold at my feet, then left. I never saw, or heard from them again. The world around me was much different. 5 years later, I came across a person struggling with gachapons. I looked at him, who had 10 boxes left and he handed them to me. Unboxed a bunch of potions, sighed and wasted teh last of his money on the last box. And got Angel Wings (White) and Cupid Wings (Red) Then handed them over, the thankful soul looked... Astonished. Unfortunately, the same for the other girl happened to me, I was tired of the game from everything being so new. I handed him over 29 million gold peices in just two items, yet... she remained in my heart. I smiled, rejected his incisions on paying me, then walked off into the depths of Channel 3. Ruari was so peaceful, its such a shame so many people don't have the same kind of light the players have now. I wander around the world now, pretty much everyone wondering how I am so mature from such a young age, I just shrug. and every time I hear it, I only can only remember the people in this community that brought me to who I am today. compared to the teenagers now, I am a shadow, a dark, happy shadow with memories of past I will always aspire to be.
This game was one of a kind back in the day (2008 ~ 2010), with unique skills, unique combat and it had just the right amount of casualness. They then turned it into another pay to win hack and slash game and a bad one at that.
blapblapblapblap well if ur talking bout fine reforges, sure they can get them easier, but u can still purchase them, its not like those mmos that have costumes that give good stats and cant be purchased without real cash

I never got to play this game, due to IP restrictions.. So i dropped it early. Although i always kept track of it through videos and loved every bit of it, still wishing i could play. I havnt played to this day, but.. Even i know that it'll be hard to find an MMO that was as good as mabinogi was. *Patiently waits for new KR anime MMO's to come out*
I don't know. I personally liked the Alchemy generations (G9-11). G11's boss music is one of my favorites from the game, and Taillteann. It felt like Mabinogi to me. The rest I'm not too familiar with, and I agree HanStone had some great music, but not all of the other music is bad.
God! The nostalgia of Chapter 1,2, and 3! I've been playin for like 6 years and I'm still playing to this day. But to be honest you can't beat how it was 4/5 years ago.

God this literally just hurts my heart to hear I miss mabi but its so different now I'd never be able to play well again, plus the best part was the friends I made and they're long gone now ;_;
