JoKoy was introducing new talent and they were his friends. I’ve been a fan of ESJ for a couple years before JoKoy became well known. There’s a great performance by ESJ at Icehouse hosted by Jeff Garcia.
Underrated comedian, this is an old set of his and still hilarious I'm surprised he hasn't blown up yet, he's worked with fluffy several occasions and people still hasn't noticed him enough!
I am kinda hearing that Spanish speaking people mix Js and Ys... I thought I'm being deaf or what... Now I have a Mexican boyfriend, I heard him say, "jogurt". 😅
I caught his show in Las Vegas a few years back and I was crying the whole set. Edwin San Juan is tremendously talented. I'm looking forward to seeing more for him in the near future.
"puck you, you calm down! didju get syoot at your job today edwin? ha? no...because you don't hab a pucking job edwin!" omg i've heard this set and this specific line so many times in the last 13 years. it still makes me hysterical! Filipino dads are so savage! This Payaso comedy slam set is one of his best!!! When's it going to be Edwin's time to shine!? We need a Netflix special!
I heard some of those lines before. I think in his early years but still funny though. I always use the Stick like rice like whenever I explain Filipino food and culture to other people.
Not all pilipinos came from the same origin and I totally agree with you most of the worst english speakers are tagalogs compare to visayans they have swag when it comes to english but sucked at tagalog words.
This is the guy I realize now is NOT Jo Koy! I had thought he look like him and confused him for and wondered what happened to his hand (Edwin San Juan's hand is subtly misshapen)! They are both super-talented!
Nice to see you back in the Game sir edwin.. i watched many times of your show. But ofcourse only in my celphone.. nothings gets you old when it comes to your jokes man.. hope to see more videos of you and God bless you man... be safe Man.. 🇵🇭 #covid19
The "chino, chino" song was taught to me as a jump rope song by my great-grandmother! I was five. I never knew what it meant because I didn't speak Spanish. I love Edwin San Juan!!!
This guy has been legit for a decade now..... ITS TIME FOR HIM TO GO BIG. He is a cross between GEORGE LOPEZ and a bit of Chris Tucker ( my opinion) but definitely unique.
We were colonized by the spaniards for hundreds of years, so that’s where the culture and some words in our dictionary came from. The first filipinos were black, the tribe called the ita. They’re much smaller than the blacks from africa tho. Then came all the other asians, malaysians, indonesians, and that’s why we literally look the same.
NOPE... HIPANICS are use for people in the Americas.... specifically most of south America... though MEXICO n Dominican and Puerto Ricans are also part of the demo. In the Philippines besides a true Spanish blood or majority like the AYALAS and others with a meztizo liniage. Only ZAMBOANGUENOS can be truly considered Hispanics as they communicate in Spanish idioms and vocabulary.
Nordic Blood84 lol are you filipino? If yes then you need to learn your history philippines is considered as a hispanic country tho they dont speak spanish now their culture, tradicion, religion, comida etc are basically same with us in south america(Latinx)
I’ve had the opportunity to see him perform for a small New Years show at a HB hotel and got a chance to chill with him and his crew during the after party🙌🏼 he’s no doubt one of the most under rated comedians during his time and a real down to earth chill guy.
