If your a beginner watching this video and are getting discourage because you cannot do the chords from this song, don’t worry. Keep practicing a lot and come back and this song will be 10x easier i promise.

It's because those are bar chords. Just force yourself to learn these chords, eventually you'll find it really easy to play them.

Barre chords will come to you suddenly, you'll go from dreadful to just getting it almost overnight after months of trying. At least it did for me. It's everything else that's got me stuck XD

Hi Guys, I think the diminished chords in Macs song here, as in the C# and D# diminished chords are made into diminished 7th chords (1, flat 3, flat 5, double flat 7 [or major 6]) by the notes that the second guitar is playing in the verse. Just incase anybody playing the song by themselves with only one guitar wants to get that sound. Mac does only play the 1, flat 3, and flat 5 though when he plays in the band but the second guitar is playing the note he is not. Hope this helps :D
