I got a fee sample of the MAC serumizer and thought it was amazing but its too expensive for such a small amount, what would you suggest? as in a product of quality that you said was drug store? I
For a similar range of product, I would go for Clinique's Moisture Surge Auto-Replenishing Hydrator. Same parent company, but I find it works much better for me and I get a lot more product for about the same price as this serum.
I personally find it worth the price. My makeup looks smoother and SOFTER than ever. I have combo skin and it helps both areas. Plus my skin feels more supple in general. Tomorrow they have 40% off on the mac website!
Thats not because Mac Serum,I was apply kanebo foundation and cover up with kanebo powder, then my face appearance become glowing healthy. Another time I apply that Mac Serum and Mac skin canvas balm, after that Lancome foundation and Kanebo powder the result is amazing.
Thank you for sharing your routine with us, @sufiedian5607. Sounds like we have different skin types. If your foundation was the Kanebo Cream Foundation, that could be the reason why you had the results that you got. Cream foundations do help smoothen skin texture, give shine and do work great for dryer skin types. The Mac Skin Canvas Balm is yet another creamy (and hydrating product), so I can understand that it pairs well with your foundation. I personally have oily-combination skin so I stay away from cream-based foundations and moisturizers (especially during the day) as they make my face look super greasy, don't stay well on my skin and cause my skin breakout with more acne.
I mean if you want to have a good comparison, you must apply a more expensive or at least the same price with Mac Price ,We know the Mac cosmetic price is more expensive than Maybeline.Or you can apply all Mac from base to end. So your comment is approve able. You cannot use 1 high end Brand and put the cheaper one on top.and put again another cheaper one etc.And After all that application, you make the statement that the base product is bad/no good. Just see, what you put after the base.
As mentioned in the video, I used those products following the Serumizer because I had filmed myself using those products recently (pore primer, foundation, setting spray and powder) so I have a proper point of reference. ru-vid.com1BEcrJWLJUg?feature=share3 I totally respect your right to your own opinions and that this product has worked for you.
