@@itspaintosee what did you do? Mine has been stuck on 1% for almost a week now. It’s not charging. I don’t know what to do Edit… I had to get a new battery, hooray
This is my Solution: im on a MacBook Air 2024 …. I only had a power usb c adapter plugged in not usb hub or anything like that, I unplugged power adaptor and all progressed as normal ..
@@monkey5092 I heard before you start your Mac book press shift, option, command, and R all at the same time and it’s gonna reset everything cause the internet will download everything you need
I wish I never bought my Mac book pro. Had issues with it while under warranty and nothing was ever found or the help I got was lame. After warranty I needed up having to pay for a repair. And bring it in again for another repair under that service warranty. Now it’s stuck in the loading screen and shutting it off won’t do anything.
Hi. I'm stuck on the apple logo and the chanel bar screen. It seems to have got to a certain point and won't go any further. (macbook air i5). I'm trying to do an Internet recovery but it ain't happening 💁🏼♂️
My daughter broke her screen on her Mac Pro 16 $3400 new by the power cord connector was in the hinge so she used our tv for a week then backed up the unit and brought it to Apple they hooked it up to test then gave her a $1,000 estimate she took it home to find out it no longer powers up she brought it back and said it’s cycling and now needs a logic board also at $2,000 so how could they have screwed it up with their test jig ?
I did the reinstall and though it made it through that but on the next screen was the apple icon and progress bar. The progress goes to about 40% and doesn't move any more. It's been sitting there for 2 hrs. Any other options? Thanks 😊
@JBadge no, I got tired of messing around with it. It was ten years old, and that was the third time having a hard drive issue. Luckily, I had a new dell laptop as a backup pc. I'll never buy an apple pc again. They are overpriced, so its back to windows. 😊
Thanks for the video, we've got a Macbook pro A1502 2015, that seems to hang on boot up with Catalina and above. Even after an update it will hang. It does this on the Internal Storage and from a USB hard drive booting. We've fully tested the RAM but it intermittently continues to do this. , so strange. It does eventually start in Safe Boot but takes a while.
on MB-air, 11" early 2014: nothing helped. all Cmd+r resets recovery resets etc., even disk repair and install new option from recovery menue all got me stuck on logo-screen. here is what resolved my issue: boot into safe mode and navigate in finder to /users. Copy your data if you don't have a TM backup that is reliable. then boot with cmd+r into recovery mode and go to disk utility. Select Macintosh HD (NOT the data partition!) and hit erase. Create the volume with the default AFPS settings. Then do a new install from the cmd+r menue and wait.... restore your data should it be missing from TM backup or your manual backup
[SOLVED] My MacBook Pro 2019 with Intel i9 encountered an issue while in Recovery mode, becoming stuck in an infinite loop with the logo. (Running OS Sonoma) After reading a comment suggesting erasing the main drive in Recovery mode (by holding down Cmd + R after turning on). I erased and, then re-installed the OS, and to my relief, it worked. I realized that it was stuck during the installation process and not actually booting up the OS. Typically, after restarting, it should also take some time... It displays something like "About 25 minutes remaining." I didn't use the power cable during the installation process, so I'm not sure if that might have caused any issues. Man, I just bought this laptop this week from someone, and I regretted it almost immediately. Hopefully, I can use it for work for at least a year or more. Tip: If you can't buy from a store, at least purchase a product that still has a warranty. I learned my lesson.
Thank you so much! :) I just held the button for 10 seconds to turn it off...and another 15 seconds until theres a message below the apple logo. It lead to a window where "macintosh hardrive" and "settings"..I nitially pressed settings and worked form there :). Thank you again! :)
Thank you for the help. I waited all day and it was stuck in the apple logo. I followed your first instruction to restart then unplug any wireless mouse etc and it worked. 😭
All Apple products have a time limit before they fail installed into their program. They have been sued for this and lost. Usually Apple phones have problems in 3-4 years. Apple laptops 5-7 years.
Omgg!!!! I was about to freak out thank you som ich oh goodness this is my dads 2017 MacBook Pro and his MacBook Stucked too much if that happens to it my dad will kill me but he was in work oh my god!
Man thank you brother!!!! Mine was sitting for 6 hours and I have class coming up… turns out it was still plugged into the docking station. Once I unplugged it was fine!! Thank you!!
My macpro is having trouble loading and I’m sure it has something to do with an external hard drive but according to your video I’m assuming I suppose to trash my hard drive?
I have iMac 2012. After power cut it was stuck on loading screen and very slow and unresponsive. I tried everything but only thing that worked on the end was cabled keyboard and mouse (Bluetooth did not work) I had to erase the disk and install the OS from recovery (command + R on start up). Now works better than ever.
Hey guys if none of these work just try waiting, patience is the key. I was so worried, cause the Mac that I was using wasn't mine.. 😬 I got really scared that I was gonna get in trouble, but I stayed there for around 5 minutes and it finally turned on
Hey yesturday I deleted something in the files to clear some of my “other gb” I deleted something that I’m not suppose to and now it doesn’t let me sign in to my apple account
Thank you so much for this quick and to-the-point tutorial. I use my older mac as second monitor and every so often when it does this and I have to reinstall the OS onto an external drive I have velcroed to the back of the Mac. Thanks again!
Im having this problem but my progress bar stops and my imac shuts off completely! Ugh… I’ll try your 2nd step hoping thats it. Or I will hop to step 3. I’ll keep you posted thanks!!
I turn on my mac and press cmd + R but unfortunately no menu appears or even the apple logo or the progress bar. The screen just gets a lighter black colour. Any help?
@@ODBTED yes. I had to completly wipe it though… I learned that the issue came from updating my laptop without the free storage needed to do the update
Mine is an iMac 27" 5 k late 2015; I got it in a bundle from one of the auction sites and have no idea what's in it, nor the specs, as I haven't been able to make it boot up; I tried 2 different HDDs, thinking the problem would be with the original one, with the same results, it gets stuck on the Apple logo and no loading bar movement; recovery disk, internet recovery all end up the same, no option to Disk Utility or OS reinstalling; Apple Hardware Diagnostics, by pressing Option + D or just D starts and freezes at the "2 minutes remaining" message; any idea of what I might be dealing with?
@@cprepairslab6465 yes, I did; I mentioned in my comment that I tried 2 other HDDs and same result; I even tried an external HDD; anyway, I ended up just taking it apart for spare parts and trash the rest; thank you!
I’m installing High Sierra in an early 2011 MacBook Pro and it keeps getting stuck on the logo with no progress bar. I tried rebooting into safe mode and into recovery mode but nothing happens. It’s the logo every time.
@@rjeption Yes, I was finally able to install High Sierra. I didn't do anything special, just kept trying with both the safe mode and the recovery mode until it worked. It took a looong time.
@@rjeption No, that's a funny story. I wanted to download High Sierra directly on my MacBook but the link to the App Store didn't work, so on I whim I tried something I thought wouldn't work - I opened the download link on my iPhone, sent myself an email with the link and opened the link on my laptop. It worked! Thank God, because I didn't have any other laptop to download it from. Luckily this is the last time I have to update the OS in this MacBook. High Sierra is the last OS it supports so no more updates for this baby. I was updating it from Yosemite. I hate updating operating systems!
@@Sylphadora I also hate updating OS. Hence why I’m here because I’m stuck on that Apple logo…. So just to recap so I understand. You eventually got safe or recovery mode to work after a very long time. Afterwards, you were able to access your MacBook normally and then that’s when you sent the link to your email from your phone to update OS?
