@@Lurkin- can't really compare 10 years of music to 2. I'm comparing Mac to em. Mac was far better than em in my opinion and that's growing up with both of them. Em couldn't produce his own music if his life depended on it.
Mac was really great at bridging into some other genres with his music. This was probably my favorite or definitely in the top 3 off of Circles. If you haven't checked it already, I highly suggest everything off of The Divine Feminine. Top songs would be Stay, Skin & Soulmate for me.
Yo I love your reaction! Not to mention your face and view of my man Mac RIP and lyrics. Spot on. Keep it up. If I may request one, it’s called no shots of Mac of course. Yo I would like to see your review on that one!
this is my first video of yours ive seen and I've never seen anyone really dive into how beautiful this song is like you. guess that explains the 0 dislikes. now i gotta go binge watch the rest of your channel
I think you're interpretation is right my guy. Such a sad but somehow beautiful story. It makes me sad but watching his journey can't do anything but put a smile on your face, sometimes even with tears in your eyes
Truly the best reaction, thinking exactly how I think...but I love how no matter what reaction channel it is, Mac fans like us always do the most to make people experience more mac music...awesome video brother!
Best reaction I’ve seen yet, you break down the lyrics and actually go threw the song. Most people just listen and skip threw important details. amazing job
Dude just came back to this song 5 months later! (From my original comment) man when talk about feeling like an alien and how you heard from someone wiser than yourself about how we aren’t supposed to be on this earth, like an “alien” or from another galaxy.. wow is that powerful.. I got goosebumps listening.. and wow does this reaction hold up. This is easily your best Mac reaction, possibly best reaction ever! Everything you said was on point. From the alien bar, to the “dropping change inside your empty guitar case” in terms of the Jewels and knowledge he’s dropping us.. this song had its own meaning to me, but you pointing out these lines has added a whole new context.. I played this song in rehab over a year ago, January 2020, when we had our music day once a week where we would each pick a song and have it played, it was a fun way to switch up the groups. usually on a Sunday we would do this once a week where we each pick a song and I picked this one. And you reacting to it and having this much insight and emotion and knowledge in your reaction.. almost brings a tear to my eye.. fr man. I Thank you from the bottom of my soul brother. We need more reaction channels like yours. Love you and your work man, don’t know how often you check comments on your old videos, but just letting you know this one is now the second or third time I’ve watched it just from your reaction and how you break it down so poetically, I’ve come back when I need a pick me up. Please react to good news if you get the chance, another Mac song with lots of knowledge and beautiful production. If you already reacted to that (cause I’m typing this comment I couldn’t search to see if I’m you already did it or not) but if so check out “that’s on me” or “so it goes” whenever you get the chance. Imma have to dm you at some point, and drop my RU-vid name so you know it’s me. Anyways keep up your channel man. As you said some someone told you about the alien metaphor, well know we learned it from you 👍🏻 passing the torch Edit: typo
Thank you. I enjoyed reading your comments. Music draws different emotions and connections from people individually. It took awhile to realize, that I can whiz through some songs without context. Appreciate you listening and commenting. This comment made my day and helps me realize that I’m not wasting my time on reactions.
Excellent analysis. I love Mac reactions I keep coming back for those always. You should react to red dot music by Mac featuring action Bronson.. the beat is one of the filthiest beats I’ve ever heard. It’s more of a rap song for sure, but that’s the beauty of Mac, he dabbled in every genre and sound of music
You're missing out on another song. Its called Head but its unreleased its literally the most god like vocal thing mac ever did. Its literally like more insane then fucken opera. Its so gorgeous. If you ever find it. Listen carefully. Full listen eyes closed whole time. Don't pause.
Just saying, this video doesn't deserve the 2 dislikes it has. Very well done good sir, you broke down the track beautifully and it's wonderful to see someone appreciate the lyricism and wordplay as you do. Keep it up!
