I checked M.A.C (US) & M.A.C (IN) websites to understand the skin tones and under tones each shade is comprised of. M.A.C has their stores in the Pheonix Mall in my city so I went there to match my foundation
I'm only commenting because I don't understand your question and I would like to. I don't use liquid foundation, I have always used MAC NC30 Studio Fix powder for full coverage like liquid but blends better and liquid is not for my skin type. My confusion is why I keep coming across women online, like the one in this video, who are wearing NC30 yet their skin is dark! I'm super white, but when color matched it's always been NC30 summer and winter. Is liquid foundation so different that NC30 liquid is for way darker skin than NC30 StudioFix powder? Are you white or brown skinned? For reference, my ethnicity, in ranking of most, is Irish, North African (Berber), Ashkenazi and German. So yeah, super white olive skin.
yes you can very well mix it with other foundation, test it with different shades that you have and see which one works best... I mix foundations all the time :)
So I have checked the shades medium and medium &tan, medium might be a little light for ur skin and medium & tan might be a little too yellow…. Mixing them would be a good option or you can go for medium as it’s only a filter, apply a good foundation over it and u r good to go 👍🏻
Well that’s crazy!!! I was matched with NC42 and gosh it was soooo orange- NC40 didn’t do it either so I gave up on MAC. Now today, 5years later and more confidence about matching myself- I tried NC30 today and it’s a perfect match!
I have the same problem! Once I went a MAC store and the seller matched me with NC42 but it was so orange for me, now, thanks to this channel, I found out that I have the same skin tone that her (I use maybelline fit me matte in shade 228 soft tan and for me it's a perfect match), so I'm thinking on try NC30 and NC35, I just hope I finally find my perfect match! 🤞🏻 (Sorry if I make a mistake with my english, my native language is spanish).
