Thank you for this video! I bought new speakers on Amazon for $22 including the tools and saved $200 for what my local repair guy would have charged in labor fees.
Thank you, I bought a refurbished 2015 Macbook Pro 13", I really liked it but the right speaker was busted. Bought some new speakers and replaced both of them, just in case. You made it super easy to follow by step by step.
The video is great. Thanks for showing how to replace both speakers ,as that is my problem with my macbook pro.The clearity of the video was perfect. You rock, thanks again from Newfoundland,Canada
Fantastic instructions, the fact that you only had to change one but you showed us how to change both! My replacement speakers are arriving tomorrow so I’m giving it a go. Thankyou sir!
Thanks for the detailed instructions. After replacing the speakers my wifi is not working. it has an exclamation symbol also getting open network preference error. There is no chime sound while booting. Please advise. Thanks
Hi Brother .. thanks for the video ... after following all the steps my macbook won't turn on unless it's plugged in and if i unplug it it turns off immediately .... pleeeease help me i tried every solution i found nothing works
For anyone wondering what size Pentalobe Screwdriver to use ... in this case (for MacBook Pro 1502A 13" MBP Retina), one of the best is a Pentalobe PL4 (26764) by Wiha !
Not mentioned in video ..... the end wire speaker connectors (to board), "pull-up-and-out" of the board connectors (they may also have a slight spot of factory glue holding plug wire to board - not needed to re-glue for repair of speaker.)
Thank you!! What place online provides the best replacement speakers? Many of the reviews say the replacements don’t last very long and I was hoping to get your advice.
Thanks for the video, very helpful. I ran into an issue after replacing my speakers, all of sudden I got "wifi no hardware installed" error. Any idea I might have done something to the wifi and steps I can take to remedy the issue? I have tried resetting the SMC but nothing seems to work. Thanks!
@@harleyquinn105 I just carefully repeated the steps, especially with the left side, making sure the cables/parts/screws are neatly replaced. Fortunately it worked for my machine that way. Good luck!
thanks, I replaced my right speaker. However, I had a stripped screw on left speaker, and I can't replace it. A set of stripped screw extractor set will cost $41+tax. I am just settling for one speaker for now.
Use the audio balance slider to find out which speaker was busted (if it was only one). To find that, open System Preferences, click Audio and then click Output.
Ottimo video, molto chiaro, complimenti. Puoi darmi il link per acquistare gli speaker . tanti che trovo su internet hanno commenti negativi perché il suono è scadente
Thank you: Try this: Where to get the speakers ? amzn.to/3iA2txC amzn.to/3cUdHf3 amzn.to/2SqWwrU amzn.to/3iubp7i eBay: ebay.to/3jsckGM ebay.to/3jwRxlE ebay.to/3itG7xt ebay.to/30rXJUk ebay.to/36vBTTC
Hi, I changed both speakers but now my keyboard and trackpad not working only the power button work on the built-in keyboard, using an external mouse and keyboard I check the speakers, and the rest are working fine.
"UberGeeks" forgot to mention he was probably wearing rubber gloves to protect the MBP from receiving any electro-static discharge from his hands, while doing the repairs on the MBP. It's always a good idea to wear these rubber gloves on electronic repairs ... otherwise you could easily cause a static discharge that would destroy sensitive parts of the MBP (like memory, SSD, circuits, chips, etc.).
I have a problem with my mac book pro inch 15 retina from the year 2013 I know that it is very old but it is still a machine ... recently I changed the new internal speakers and they sound very low I have tried many things to solve the problem but I can't with nothing. from formatting it, resetting the smc pram memory and nothing huh I even took the speakers back out and put them on a friend's Mac and they sound loud or normal and my friend's speakers on my Mac still sound very low. I already saw the volume controls and they are at maximum I also stopped coreiaudio and nadaaa. If you know something about the case, could you please answer me. Thanks a lot
At this point, I would think the audio chipset on the motherboard is giving low voltage to the speakers. Therefore, you speaker output low volume. Motherboard audio chipset is something I can't do the repair. Someone has to actually solder and replace that chipset.
