Great videos Paul and family!! Enjoy them all. Thanks for taking us along for an adventure in your part of the world!! Can you tell me if there’s any storage hatches under the rear birth???
Cheers mate, yes there is storage room under the stern berth, you can see here at 5.20 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-D6ny1_U8NeE.html It is a bit of a pain to get to though. A lot of guys put a 100L water bladder under there. Personally I use the stern berth as storage for the big items. The Pizza oven (stern berth) is too hot to sleep in where I live (in summer anyway)
Just found your channel. Love it. We have just bought a Macgregor 26x and have been out a few times. Must have just missed you at Peel island as we saw that guy rowing back and forth. The Macgregor seems ideal for getting around the bay. Where are you based? Looks like you put in/out at Cabbage tree point. We are at Redland bay but have the boat at Horizon shores unil our trailer is built. Keep up the good work and I hope we see you out there.
Hi Steve, We had an X in front of us heading North a few days before this. Was that you? At 4.16 in this video here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tX2hCfWx8I8.html Yeah mostly Cabbage tree when in home waters. Where are you getting your trailer built and how much is it costing if you dont mind me asking? See ya out there.
@@OldDadProductions Yes that was us. I remember you now. That was the day we picked the boat up from Coomera. Heading up to Peel for the night. We are getting a trailer from Swiftco Trailers. All up with the extra bits and pieces it is just under $7k.
@@steveszekely780 Ahh that was you, 7K Geez that's Okay, I spent 2.5K fixing up my original trailer a year or two back, Just wonder if I should have bit the bullet. The Ms are heavier though so would have needed controller, electric brakes etc to keep a dual axel legal (will go over 2000kgs for sure) which put me off (on a budget :-( )...
Lovely job Paul. If this series of pottering on the Mac with the kids doesn't encourage other folk to do something similar I don't know what would! Good on yer mate 👍👍👍
"Do something similar" C'mon Jack, I'll say what you wanted to say. "Do this but in a Woody!" Actually I found just what I'm hoping to end up with in retirement. yachthub.com/list/boats-for-sale/used/trailer-boats/scruffie/251030 The missus said I can buy it too, but I have to sell Lil Annie! Unfortunately I still need Lil Annie at the moment because I still need the floating caravan type space... :-(
