Nice video on this episode. That's sad about that actress Persis Kahmbata (?) She died in 1992 due to heart failure I think. She was only 56. She was also in that Star Trek movie and played that blad alien. But she was good in this MacGyver episode. I think they insinuated that her character and MacGyver had a relationship. They seemed to be really close in that episode. ;-) Of course I'm sure MacGyver probably had brief affairs with women he met along the way. ;-) That was really bad when she had to cauterize his wound without any pain medicine. One of the worst MacGyver's episode, if you asked me. First of all, it's pure cold-war-type propaganda, like blaiming the russians of the killing of people in Afganistan. However, none of such people saying, that there's no such thing as peaceful people in Afganistan: war is their basic cult, and if we talking about the murders here, then the Mujaheddins have the highest category in that, in fact, they were the ones, who's doing all the killings. I know, what you're thinking: "This russian commie here is lying!" Well, incase you've forget one golden rule, then let me remind you to never believe, what you see on TV! Also in this episode, the russians called the Red Army. That's bullshit! There was no Red Army after the Second World War: the Red Army was been reorganized into the Soviet Armed Forces. And finally, the russian contingency in Afganistan in this episode does not look like the real Soviet soldiers in Afganistan: furrhats are everywhere, discipline is lacking, and the commanders are portrayed as incopetent idiots. It's like watching that stupid flick "Rambo-3" all over again, which is only makes worse for MacGyver, since the show wasn't ment as propaganda. In other words, i'm dissapointed!
