Never cared for flying but seen a lot of Indiana national guard F-10s and a few F16s. These are still bad ass kicking fighter jets.

Fantastic memory. My memory: We had a Blackbird fly in for maintenance while I was stationed at Nellis AFB, repairing F-111 avionics AGE. An announcement was made after repairs, that it was about to take off. The entire flight line poured out of the shops to watch. He made it worth it for us. He took off, swung around and did a high speed low pass back down the runway at maybe 200 feet, then hit the burners, shot up straight up and center punched the only cloud in the sky, only to disappear. We all clapped. It was magnificent.

Nowdays it's Antonov Mriya has pass away... I'm so Sad to hear that... Any other country to rebuild of it? How knows...

blegh.. F22 is FAR cooler, and more stable.. The F35 can't hold a knife edge fly for anything, they just want to keep turning over.. they are really unstable. A F22 can stay on the edge for a LONG time without continuing over or back and without dropping the nose at all. It's easy to see why the US will never allow the F22 to be exported but the F35 already has been, the F22 is the superior plane, and we always want to keep the best stuff for ourselves so we can shoot down anything we've sold if need be.

Decades ago, 1990, I was at an airbase by Tucson.....for firearms training... Get up early....and watch F16 and/or A-10 on the range.... Watching the A-10 VISIBLY slow down due to the Gatling recoil was awesome....

Они не предпринимают никаких усилий, чтобы выбраться из нищеты. И вот только что мы получили еще одну радостную новость. Международное исследование под названием PIRLS (имеется в виду международный проект «Исследование качества чтения и понимания текста») сравнило способности к чтению у четвероклассников в разных странах. Оно показало, что средний уровень чтения на иврите - да, уровень чтения на нашем национальном языке, языке, на котором мы молимся, - упал до уровня 20-летней давности. Другими словами, мы регрессировали на 20 лет. В эти дни ведутся вялотекущие переговоры в попытке найти хоть какой-то компромисс в усилиях по перестройке судебной системы. Это бессмысленная трата времени. Груда из 150 законов, более или менее серьезных, а также перекрученный закон о госбюджете и другие странные постановления, призванные разрушить основы государства, а не только его юридические основы, ждут, угрожая физическому существованию государства. Непрактично идти на компромисс по тысячам деталей, и даже соглашение о составе комиссии по назначению судей не спасет страну от грабежа и превращения Израиля нынешним правительством в страну третьего мира. Этот процесс происходит со скоростью света, средь бела дня и на наших глазах. Наше существование здесь находится под угрозой, и каждый, у кого есть зрение, кто беспокоится не только о судьбе своих детей, но и о собствелжен выйти н и протестовать любыми доступными средствами против пожара, намеренно разожженного в этом доме.

Great memories are always the best. I got buzzed on a road in Death Valley with no camera at the ready. Amazes me when I think of it ✈️✈️✈️

​@@DafyddPhillips I got used as target practice by a B-1 bomber once in the middle of New Mexico. Two of them were flying long circles around a microwave tower as I approached along a highway with no one else for miles. They would line up with the tower as they got low and then turn as they passed the tower and climb away in another long circle, one would turn left and the following one would turn right. As I got near the tower another one came in and buzzed right over me and turned away. Took me a moment to figure out where he had gone to. I figured maybe a moving target was more interesting. 🤔 Then, maybe a year later I was driving the same highway at night, no moonlight, so it was pitch black. I was approaching the same tower/area and I could see these lights moving rapidly dipping down then back up. Then It would happen again but I was closer this time, then I realized I was looking at the tail end of a B-1 with it's afterburners on. They were using the same site at night for practice runs! ✈️

There's a timeless appeal to the prop fighters/trainers/warbirds. Against the jets they don't resemble fast, but with their lines and dihedral wings they LOOK fast! I'm sure they damn well FEEL fast if you rode in one too. I think that'd be the ride of a lifetime, while ripping it hard in an F-35 might not be for mere mortals.
