That 9inch grinder brings back memories of November the 5th when we were a poor struggling family. Dad could not afford us any fireworks, so we stood around our bonfire while dad provided us with a "Sparklers display" coming from his 9inch angle grinder.

Afternoon Chris……got finished at 4pm……A Guinness is already being partaken , Whoop Whoop it’s Friday ….have a great weekend mate…..👍👌💪😉🇮🇲. Ps if that Sanderson hub ain’t leaking now, it was the loose wheel nuts, they must clamp down on the outer plate and keep the pressure on the seal….that’s my thought👍

They are quich release brackets on bottom of the sideshift Chris

Designed to work without the sideshift. The bucket will rip the sideshift off at the bushings Chris . Bucket should be straight on to the plate

Should be derated on the plate to account for the additional weight of the bucket (if it is heavier) than factory bud 💪🏻

Sanderson hub seal is easy, the end cap is all one piece, you need to remove the Alan key bolts and 2 of the the wheel studs (there are 2 odd ones if you look) and the cap will just pull off. guessing if you have stopped the leak then the wheels must have been loose and tightening them has stopped the leak.

On Sanderson hub. Take out 2 Allen bolts between wheel studs and the two odd wheel studs as mentioned by parastorm further up in the comments and take off end cap. It needs resealing between that and outer hub. Leaking because wheel studs loose and not holding it all together tight. Used to be a common problem. Don’t use silicon to seal it use loctite flange sealant that setts hard and glues the two halves together. Keep struggling buddy👍🏻

I don’t think JCB expect you to use the side shift with the bucket. They expect you to drop the frame with the tines on, off the machine. Then use the bucket on the main frame. That’s what we do with ours anyway.

Chris why didn't you just unplug the side shift and take the hole lot on in one then you wouldn't had to cut anything and it still would have fit the sanderson and no brackets would have had to been got then

Chris, you would of been better off nibbling a grove out of the original hanger l, that way it is “located” in a ridge to stop the bucket moving sideways, however with it fitted onto the side shift you have now increased the load centre from the original carriage plate, meaning you can’t lift the full amount in the bucket.

Ok, so tell me about lost load centres, tell me about De-ration, tell me when did Chris calculate the De-ration & put an identity plate onto the machine with bucket details de-ration etc, & if your in the UK, then that machine needs a ThoroughExam as it’s usage has changed. Yes there will be a graph booklet in the cab worked out from the carriage, & yes there is a Load indication scale & alarm on that machine, but that machine isDe-rated in capacity, boom in or boom out. Over 35 years experience, what’s yours apart from watching obscene amounts of RU-vid.

@@anthonyshaw7251 my experience oh spent 3 years moving steal plates where a used to work on a forklift with oversized forks never had any the bull shit your claiming and guess what none of us ever crashed cause we used our common sense and as for a though examination so every time you change a bucket on a telehnded it’s needs a through examination stop talking bollocks 35 working for healthy and safety about all the experience you have
