It's kind of just how blackbear is In all his videos...He's one of the most amazing artists and doesn't get the recognition he deserves.

I feel like blackbear was supposed to act that way. Playing a tow truck driver doing his job but just unconsciously emitting the lyrics. Also gives it a nice yin yang vibe with the calmness mixed with mgk's explosiveness. Just my perception tho. Mgk's proven himself to be incredibly artistic in his craft, so always look the for little things:-)

Enjoyed this. Love how you went for the button first thing. I think it might have been odd if the tow truck driver showed up with a lot of energy but I don't think blackbear is an actor. There are a lot of MGK fans who are blackbear fans so they'd know better than me. I like his voice and his collabs but don't know much else.

I'm a huge blackbear fan but I definitely agree. He gives his all in live performances, but his particular style that he uses in music videos - that passive lip syncing where he's saying the words but not PERFORMING - works really well for him and the music he produces, but just isn't compatible with MGK's performance style in music videos. I love his style in his own videos but it would've been nice to see him step up to the plate a little more for this one.
