​@@PeterT1 I've followed the Used since they were performing on the streets of Utah... that's pretty far from the truth. Bert always allowed members of the band to shine in concert. He's a big personality with an electric voice, but to allege that is pure bs. People claim Branden was sober and a huge drag, so he was voted out. That's incorrect. He personally told me Allman wanted him out of the band because he refused to give him creative control over backing vocals. When In Love and Death came out, people recognized Branden's talents and it drove a wedge between the two, competing for that 2nd slot behind Bert to shine. Hell, Bert even wanted Allman to stay, but since Allman's the guy who Bert called to join the band, he had the strongest bond with him and couldn't really say anything. Allman voluntarily left the band and decline to tour. He was later told they didn't want him back because there was less tension without him. Allman was the driving force behind kicking out Branden, one of my favorite drummers of the early 2000s, and someone I personally interacted with. Bert was also heavily disliked at the time, always high, always going to the ER. He went to rehab, sobered up, and Allman still had a problem with him but everyone accepted Bert back. It was a group decision to disallow Allman back into the band. Bert, being the leader, simply voice the group's decision and ended up responding to Allman's text saying he didn't think he should join back up. Allman wanted the band to fail after he left them to perform without him. He sued them, attempted to sue the band into dissolution. Yeah, seems like he kicked people out for bad reasons if you have no idea whats going on

@@jadelouise8921 Ah, the response to Peter was basically calling Peter out for misinformation. He fabricated a bunch of wild things people have posted in subreddit without any backing whatsoever. There was also rumors from the same guy who started those rumors that alleged Bert killed someone and impregnated a 12 year old when he was 30. Not exactly credible given... well, he has no ties to the band, Bert, and has never even met them. His only real rationale was that someone in the comment section of a The Used video claimed to have had a kid with Bert when she was 13... Lol. Bert impregnated me when I was 9. See this comment on Reddit later.

@@brandonstevens1832 I think dude was just giving Bert his chops for being a phenomenal artist either way you look at it.. either his voice or his ear to find the tune in certain sections of the band to make it blend seamlessly, but I'm not saying that it is and was a one man show because we all know that so far from the truth.. I just don't think they live as long as they do as a band without Bert!! Now I don't know all the history that you just said, well not that detailish.. but it is good to know all these years later that Bert can still get behind the microphone and do his thing in any fashion! As far as Allman goes, FCK that guy for trying to dissolve the band in court cost.. that's kind of selfish for sure.. I would just be glad that I was a part of something special and want it to live forever regardless if I was in it or not at the end! And I HAVE to agree Branden was one of my fav drummers of that era... No second thoughts about it.

Bert sings the line "put me in a body bag" and does backing vocals in chorus. He also does the bridge (the way he sings some words is slightly different tonally to Yungblud, which gives it away)
