I love MGK's last 2 albums, I bought them both and he's born to be on stage for sure, but let's be honest he's not that gud at playing the guitar, he can barely play the basics and his solo there was played on what ? 5 or 6 notes ?
@@danh6878 I can't lie and say the dude can play like Jimmy Page or anything lol But he can hold it down super solid live and even busts out solos that may not be technical but they're at least played pretty clean and he's having a good time up there. Have you ever played guitar on a stage while moving around like he does? That shit's hard bro. I've played a few live shows years ago and even good bedroom guitarists aren't anywhere near as solid live. There's legit skill there on the guitar for sure and there's no denying it. @@seanchristopher740 We agree he's a gud live performer for sure. I just don't want ppl to start thinking that's a dope solo and great skill as a guitarist because that's not. He's a gud live performer and that's it, as far as I love his music. Tbh I've played a few lives too, and it's noooot thaaat hard, but it's only a question of practice imo. MGK has been playing guitar on stage for a few years only, you should check Jonas Brothers grammy award live, it was damn hot, same goes for every Paramore performance of "Pressure", the bassist is dope, or even MGK's friend Yungblud, he's a freak on stage with a guitar.
