@@themdwboy Josh Middleton from Sylosis too now in the modern day. Many people have called him the modern day chuck. They’ve released some incredible Music and he’s incredible On guitar and vocals live. They even did a sick Death cover because obviously chuck was a huge influence on him/them.
You should check out Josh Middleton of Sylosis if you like that kind of shit. Incredible fuckin guitarist and amazing singer live. The Sylosis albums “edge of the earth” of earth which is when he became lead vocalist and the follow up “monolith” are 2 of the best metal albums of the last decade imo.
Machine Head are absolutely crushing live, and Clenching is the best opener imagineable. When the lights go down and that intro hits, the hair on your arms will stand higher than ever before. Then it's just pure fucking carnage from there on in. There is no other band like them.
Spencer Jacobs Yeah 4 years ago he was pretty cool. Too bad he's more of a Liberal crybaby now. I still like him, but he's so annoying sometimes with his lyrics
Those Dimesqueals Demmel chucks in give this song that much more energy, saw them back at the black crusade in 2007 and it was the most insane gig ive been to....Pure Fucking metal!!
the snowdawg Actually, they glitched a lot during during this song. Casuals don't notice it that much ;). But hey, metal ain't about being pretty. This is one of their best performances on video.
Fight, fight, fight, fight!! So fight for all that you love! Fight, fight, fight, fight Scream, choking with foot open throat!!! Fight, fight, fight, fight Blind star spangled eyes!! Fight, fight, fight, fight Death, no more the truth you will hide, no more!!!
I remember seeing Machine Head live in 2008 as the support band for Slipknot, they absolutely mopped the floor with Slipknot. The late 2000s were peak Machine Head, firing on all cylinders and putting on some massive sounding shows. The band is now a shell of it's former self with 3 of the 4 members seen in this video no longer a part of the band. It's really sad to see what was once an absolute metal powerhouse crash and burn the way it has over the last 5 years.
i know it wouldnt really work well to play it live, but i love the intro. its a great segue into the riff. plus, the riff is just the base notes of the chords in the intro
mamma mia non vedo l ora di vederli ancora a febbraio...sono i migliori c'è poco da fare... can't wait to see them again in february...best band in the world for me...I LOVE MACHINE FUCKIN' HEAD!!!!!
surely one of the best live bands ever! concert in stuttgart was the best thing i've ever been to in my life.. fuckin awesome! perfect atmosphere, awesome music.. the band gave it all.. it was incredible. can't wait to see them again (@ wacken next summer)
Robb Flynn and Matt heafy were for sure the best mainstream metal vocalist at the time. This dude was a monster. Really sad that his voice is not as powerful as it used to be
Josh Middleton is the best in the business now Imo, not nearly as popular as Matt and Robb but his band Sylosis released 2 of the best metal albums of the decade in “edge of the earth” and “monolith” and the man absolutely crushes live on on lead guitar and vocals, also crushes rhythm guitar whenever he does it. Guy and his band are so good. They like a mash up of thrash/death metal/melodeath.
Wonderful performance. I just watched their Hellfest 2024 performance, still awesome and probably tighter, but the years have really torn Robby’s voice to hell. No criticism as the man gives his all every night! Absolute monster here man gaddam
Didn't say I want to lead I just might let you down Didn't say believe in me Just hold this common ground I'm just as lost as you And probably more confused So fucking far from perfect My mind wrecked from abuse There's something fucking wrong When war takes sons and daughters Our lambs misled to slaughter. Simply brilliant,MH fuckin RULLZ!!! Long Live Robert Conrad Flynn \m/
I remeber the sound was totally fucked up as they began to play this song...it was some kind of reverb that was going on ON the stage or something...but it was a great show as always...and I'm going to see them tomorrow !!!! MFH !
