RC32 agreed. I think what they do is they record 15-20 episodes and then space them out over every Wednesday until they run out of episodes. Then they film more episodes and repeat the process.
I discovered Machine Head seriously late... In 2020... I love this band and Robb Flynn. The music, the lyrics, of most of their songs are absolutely breathtaking. I love their old stuff, and really like the new. Also, I love Robb Flynn as a person, love the way he speaks, writes, and interviews people on his podcast No F'n Regrets. My favorite album is Unto The Locusts. What's yours?
I don't understand all the hate on Flynn.....Yeah he REALLY pushes his opinions to the point of where it's annoying, but he seems like a genuinely good dude who just cares about people and this planet. Maybe i'm missing something....lol
@@Whocareslol420 wherever someone disagrees with a liberal. They are called a nazi, and sometimes attacked. Rob is a woke ass libtard, actually I take that back, I believe it is more about trying to stay relevant, thinking if he says the key words more people will buy hid shit. I miss the days when most metal heads were libertarians or anarchist. The only I have heard Rob say that agreed with a long time is fuck Jeff sessions, but that is an easy one, and even a lot conservatives hate that fucker.
Screw the haters. Robb you have my props for sticking up for what's right. Can't wait to see you guys live this October. Keep up the awesome Fact or Fictions, Loudwire!
I was in the crowd at Bloodstock Festival last summer when Machine Head played their surprise set on the second stage. They played at around 2:45 in the afternoon, and it was probably the first time I'd seen the entire tent (where the second stage was located) completely packed out. They played as a 3-piece, cause Vogg was in Czechia with Decapitated, but they still absolutely brought the place down. The weather was upwards of 30 degrees celsius all weekend, so everyone in the tent was drowning in sweat already. I went down in the pit a few times, to the point where I was practically suffocating. Worth every fucking minute. Machine Head forever 🤘
Or they could just play the cuss words because it's not like we've never heard a bad word in our lives. God forbid someone cusses on a channel about rock and metal😤
How in the hell could anyone think "Night of Long Knives" is about anything other than the Manson-family murders? The first line of the track is "In summer '69..." and he actually says Manson's name in the pre-chorus.
regarding Flynn's adoption, I think it would have been interesting to hear questions such as: >"Why did your adoptive parents choose that name specifically?" or >"Have you reconnected with your biological parents?" But maybe the author of the vid wanted to keep it STRICTLY in the *Wikipedia* field. Since the Wiki article does not discuss his "family", that's why these questions were left out.
2009 Sonisphere was my first festival.. Still remember the roar of the crowd when their banner dropped down on the main stage before they came on with everyone still thinking they pulled out
I'm 3 years younger than Robb and I was also majorly into the thrash metal scene as a teenager during the 80's, and I heard Deep Purple's Machine Head when I was 10. Robb apparently wasn't very well-versed in hard rock and metal history.
David Gómez: I know a friend of mine from high school who graduated before me (I followed suit the following year), he is an adopted child who was raised and sent to school by the parents that adopted him, and (somehow?) served as an inspiration behind his aspirations as a musician and guitarist to this day. I heard albeit continually that he's busking somewhere in the city I live in now, hopefully. I also hope he's doing/working other odd jobs to keep him afloat. I really wish and hope the best for him 😊👍🏾
So, main point: props to Robb Flynn for being an adoptee, not making his family relations an issue (okay, maybe it was or it wasn't, but I won't (and may neither of ANY OF US) bother to have him specify), rising above any and every struggle and obstacle, whether or not his parent were or are still supportive of their son, and in the process still made it to the stratosphere of metal music superstardom ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🎸 🥁🤘🏾
mzw meathook said the guy with the Slayer profile image. Tracks like Stain of Mind by Slayer are just as much Nu Metal as songs like Desire to Fire by Machine Head. So... let’s judge by if we like the music or not. All this bullshit that we should all have the same taste is bullshit. My favourite Slayer album is God Hates Us All, not Reign in Blood. I prefer SuperCharger and the Burning Red over the Locust or the Blackening. I prefer Domination over Altars of Madness... just because it’s the opinion of the masses doesn’t make it any more or less true. If there should be a music scene that doesn’t care what the majority thinks it should be Metalheads.
Tamas Ostrolucky thank you, let me share a song of one of my favourite Nu-Metal bands to show my appreciation ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-57X8Abb2zZk.html
@@timothy3660 hey bro, I didn't agree on the Nu-metal part but on every other part of your comment. I'm not a hater, I just simply dislike Nu-metal. But your comment had a deeper aspect going beyond any genre. It was about individual priorities and flavors. The Blackening is seen as one of the best albums of the millennia by the messes and "don't you dare to disagree!!!" Well, I do :) I would choose The Locust 10/10 times or The more things change album for that matter coz I don't care about what others think. This is was my perception of your comment. Cheers bro :)
From that one time in band camp where he said he loves jews and muslims but hates Trump. Its one of those could have just left it be but seems to be dealing with the blowback by not dwelling on that feeling and focusing on the positive. Seen them few weeks back and nothing really came up that was awkward. Cant say there was any political slant. Was a good night.
Hey Stallion Duck were you upset by Robb's nasty comments about your boyfriend Phil? The pussy is you who's upset by somone calling out Phil for being a prick that night. Phil even admitted himself he was dick. Robb Flynn is a beast.
He jumps on trends like crazy. He made two nu metal albums when the genre was popular, then changed to wearing battle-vests abd playing solos when it became cool again, now he's riding the sjw bandwagon despite being anti-pc earlier. Also, his latest album sucks. That intro with claps and lyrics about putting your middle fingaz in the air is one of the worst things i heard in music lately.
I don't think he's a badass btw. I just put that comment just to see what would happen. I didn't think it was gonna get 50 likes and people commenting on it like this haha but word. HE IS AN ASS!!!
I want to force a vegan to eat meat at gunpoint, then try to do white power salute in front of the USA war vets. See what happens. Those guys certainly have some guts if they went to war.
Wardo Melena, a pussy on whose head was put a price after he and his friends started a fight with 15 gang members that tried to jump them - which resulted in the stabbing of one of the gang members. Robb Flynn would've fucked up like it's nothing even in his 50s, kid.
Machine Head has a pretty solid catalog of albums, i listened to quite a bit MH, the albums that were most memorable to me.. And, im sure other MH fans as well were.. The More Things Change, Burn My Eyes, witch to me are there Most heavy albums they have released still to this day...
that sonisphere show of theres SLAYED...i lost my voice to halo....was my first and only time seeing them live. and i would DIE to see them again.....//\\//\\ACHINE HEAD \\M//
MACHINE FUCKING HEAD🤘🤘🤘Greetings from a 49 year old metalhead latino in Norway.First time I saw you guys live was in Barcelona many years ago Meshuggah warmed up🤘🤘🤘seen you at Sonisphere 2009 in Barcelona and several times in Oslo Norway
I always wonder why Rob had a black eye in the Dynamo Open Air 1995...? Who punch him before the show...? Or maybe someone threw him a grenade with the lock pin still on and hit him in the eye. 😂🤣😂🤘🏼
I don't get why Catharsis gets as much hate as it does. It's nowhere near as bad as Ministry's new album, and does have some really good moments here and there.
I've allways loved Machine Head they allways carried a runt puppy feel, but the runt allways is the best of the litter. I allways felt Machine Head got the short stick as they were not recognizd as the talented musicians they are, and because of that they've had to scratch and scrape all the way through there carrers.
