It'd be so cool in Ultrakill to actually fight like, a team of unique robots that are all part of a group, like a psuedo-circus performer type thing where they all directly work together as a unit to fight you.

And then there's v1 as a main antagonist who can copy/counter them all and seeks to destroy the universe. And of course, he's the relative of one of the protagonists.
@@thesocketsnatcher4306 the machines do fight each other as well, you just don't tend to see it because as soon as V1 rocks up they all collectively agree that it's the most dangerous being there.
The coolest thing about it how is they actually look like a generic RPG team: Guttertank is a palladin, whos kinda tanky and does some melee damage. Swordsmachine is basically a knight. V2 is a rouge. Sentry is a sniper archer or something. Mindflayer is a mage. Wait, there was a street cleaner here? Streetcleaner would be uh... That one magic sublcass which got nerfed really hard last patch.
I'd say the Guttertank is more of a berserker than a tank. Despite its name it actually has *less* health than the Swordsmachine. What it can do that none of the others can is potentially deal an awful lot of AoE damage, in addition to its big punch.
guttertank did them a solid in the first match against Gabriel judge of hell, since he was going melee he tanked all of the spinning swords, allowing the others to kill gabe easily
I could imagine that would be a pretty fun experience Multiple players all with somewhat limited abilities working together, making plans and helping eachother to speedrun levels
@@forixiom7410 that would be easier but probably somewhat boring Its way harder to do the cool stuff like reco-shots, nukes etc. And then its mostly must movement+m1 With my suggestion there would be more nuance For example: Street cleaners only have a pretty weak attack and somewhat low speed BUT they are the only robot that actively parries, probably making them the mvp on 2-4 and allowing them to perhaps relocate dangerous attacks from enemies Guttertanks are bulky and have good punching damage but they are open to attacks, making them vulerable should they miss So someone might team up with them to protect them if they miss Something strong general use like V2 and the mindflaire should probably have increased aggro, making the game a very dangerous dodge-dance but aldo allowing them to take the heat for sentries that only really thrive in single target damage There are loads of interesting scenarios and strategies that can only be achieved if everyone stays close to their robots roots, so a few players with 1 gun each would not work, the mechanics need to be deeper
Maybe something like… V2 is just V1 but no healing or rocket launcher Gutter tank has very limited mobility but 300 max health and has blue rockets and green nailgun Sentry has a 3 second cooldown rail cannon and can’t jump (needs to rocket ride or explosion boost) Mindflayer can fly and has custom weapons idk Street cleaner accidentally gets one shotted by V2’s coins
my suggestions: worn doubloon’s v2 idea, maybe with only whiplash and knuckleblaster, and only using the weapon variations that they actually use in their fight guttertank has a very strong punch similar to knuckleblaster shockwave strength but instant. for movement, as substitute for jumping, the punch is kind of a rocket fist that pulls them forward, and punching a wall would let them grab it so they can scale it. their rocket launcher has remote detonation instead of freezeframe, and the shockwaves from unexploded rockets don’t push them (they’re too heavy). no jump, no dash, crouch instead of slide. punching ground while crouched lets them lay a mine, or for more flavor, some other button lets them hold a mine in their hand which they can throw by punching, and hitting it with a rocket (or something else) makes it detonate with a huge radius. sentry could have a new attack that lets it shoot a simple pistol shot, so that it’s not helpless when faced head on. their main attack is replaced and deals more damage the longer the mouse button is held and an enemy is tracked, but it has heavy recoil unless the sentry is buried in the ground. holding crouch for a second without moving buries the sentry’s legs and stops them from moving. i think that letting them have the ground slam would also be good, it could deal heavy damage and bury instantly kick is like a knuckleblaster punch and is very fast but not very spammable. kicking the ground sends the sentry flying in the opposite direction mindflayer i only really have an idea on how the movement would work, being very drifty as they fly, but they can teleport by looking in a direction and holding whatever key would be used to teleport to choose the distance, holding longer lets them move further. teleport has a cooldown so its not spammed. tentacle slash carries the mindflayer forward a little bit to aid with movement possibly streetcleaner is pretty basic, with a fast run speed, their flamethrower, and a very lenient dash which grants invuln frames and a very fast melee which has a very lenient parry time but does stop the flames. i think that v1’s mobility would work for them? with some extra abilities, like leaving bursts of smoke and fire when ground pounding? maybe a burst jump that leaves flames, or flame blast that creates a firey explosion or several right in front of the flamethrower as some alt fire abilities, or leaving flammable gas in the air or something swordsmachine probably wouldn’t be that hard to make, just make the sword the primary weapon with different abilities, and the shotgun is used by hitting the punch button instead. if current sword techniques are hard to implement or dont work or whatever then make up new ones that do work, swordsmachine is supposed to be a master of their blade. i think that vaulting across surfaces by stabbing them would be pretty cool, and they could have a block/parry slash too. maybe i made them too busted but i think it could be fun especially if they have new HUDs that fit the designs and supposed time periods they were constructed in

@@quartzphoon sentries are only dummy thicc because they need to have strong legs to be able to run fast and burrow into the ground mindflayers just *want* to be dummy thicc, so I think they deserve it more
You'd think that the Guttertank would be cracked/ be one of the machines that can carry the team, but no, it does dog shit bruv, the rockets explode right in its face a lot of the time, and the mines don't target enemies, meaning his only useful attack would be the melee
I honestly thought that sisyphus prime would be fucked but seeing him survive with like 48 hp genuinely suprised me. Hes like the heavyweight of the '[something] vs all bosses' series.
no lol v2 just automatically enrages if whatever they’re fighting is too far away, in this case the corpses main body is like the entire arena away from them
This one was easily the best so far, had some awesome moments. // Video spoilers below if you havent watched all the way through yet // Gabriel and MF having a DragonBall fight midair, Sentry fucking SNIPING the Insurrectionist right above him, MF and V2 chasing down Act 3 V2, and then MF blowing Angry and Rude to double-hell. All pretty damn good moments.
3:25 Machine homies pull up in the box chevy and jump V2 (the fake one) 9:18 Sentry comes in clutch and kill the insurrectionist 14:15 Mindflayer kamikazes as a last ditch effort, killing Angry in the process, and Guttertank's mine kills Rude as soon as he revives

Ngl this looks like a good class based team shooter, we got Swordsmachine as a scout/leader for the team, V2 as a glass cannon/scout, Streetcleaner... Is a streetcleaner, Sentry is obvious enough, Guttertank having the hard hitting attacks, and a Mindflayer being another glass cannon
Ladies, Gentlemen, All in between, May i present to you... the concept of ULTRAKILL: HEROES OF HELL! Basically normal ultrakill, but with the machine homies are the player characters, and V1 the antagonist. Streetcleaner would be the main character, as Swordsmachine tried to rebel 2 times. their basically the DoT guy. Swordsmachine is the Warrior of the group. Guttertank is the Tank. Mindflayer is the Mage And V2 is the Rogue. Gameplay wise, I'd imagine it'd be like Persona 5 scramble, The characters in 3d view being able to do normal attack and special moves. Sniper is MVP here in terms of raw damage. I can just here my internal MMO player sceeaming with joy each time I see a huge chunk of boss' HP just disappears with a loud "CLANG" Awesome concept!
Can we all agree the street cleaner has balls of steel? No quick moves or special attacks just a robot with a flamethrower and when facing things like Minos prime and the flesh panopticon it’s still like. “Fuck it we ball”
ok so here are some roles thru the machine homies swordmachine: aggresive with shotgun and a saw? guttertank: just a beffy boi. mindflayer: a flying distracting enemy. v2: bootleg v1 just limited by his ai street cleaner: fire sentry: sniper. so uh yeah these are all the roles that i think the machine homies would have.
She? Its a machine it does not have a gender. Also if you say the mindflayer is a woman then you are wrong since the femalw body is just a plastic shell.
Honestly would've loved to see the Gutterman join in on the fun. I know he might accidently sabotage in death but I mean...is that really his fault if he's y'know...dying? Plus seeing them and the Guttertank go from specifically designed counters to homies is just an amazing premise to me.
