Wonderful design. Question: you are quilting the borders before the center...will that cause a problem with fabric folds once you start quilting the center? I was told you must quilt from the center out.

I love these swirls with feather, but I can’t make them look right! The feather/petals look like stubby toes and lean in odd directions.
