Maint tech 3 here. I'm super jealous. I would have had 10 calls in the span of that project. Seems no one knows what a start button is anymore or that when your personal belongings are hanging in the way of the light curtain it won't start.😂

If 480V 200A scares you, we just upgraded our main power feed at the processing plant at the farm I work on, from 600V 600A fused to 600V 1000A breaker, Including going from pole pigs to a pad mount transformer. We were starting to overload and blow one of the 600A fuses when we had all of the refrigeration and the processing line running, and then adding the harvest storing equipment. also the fuse had to be changed live as the disconnected did not work properly anymore, thankfully it has now been replaced.

Skyjacker 19x32, best mobile sawhorse/ladder ever made, and of course the machine being moved has been storage central for some time lol

Industrial maintenance is an awesome field. It really gets you into a lot of different areas!

So I've said before how I enjoy your videos since this is the field I'm currently going into. So really enjoy seeing the real world application of my lessons in mechatronics, and I do like how you explain things and how you try to explain why you're doing things for safety reasons. I do have one issue, and that's when you were on the step ladder. It's been drilled into my head since I was a young lad, even before I knew I wanted to go into this field, that you don't step on the top step. Things done for expediency are alright until they're not. Stay safe and keep up the good work.

Dan when the socket got stuck in the strut, I noticed you didn't have to edit that out. I say that because I say something like you witch or something I would have to edit out if I filmed myself just to let you know you are probably more appropriate at times than I am lol. Then I watched you standing on the top of the ladder at the 42 minute mark.

A lot of the time we only save the control boards if we have similar machines in house. All of the contractors have to many cycles to save. Electric machines we save the drives and motors.

Dan you were doing so well untill you stood on top of your ladder. Safety says not to stand on the top of ladder. Why not use your sissior lift? All you need is your safety man to walk by asnd give5 you the busness of safety service. Read the instuctions on the ladder😥😭😭😭

@@dansproshop because i see alot of jobs and they want 2,3, or even5 5 years experience. I went to school for house wiring, have had a few jobs while in high school and right now im doing panel building. ill have about 3 years in and have some college electrical certificates. Ik maintenance is basically everything like plumbing, electrical, and so on but i didn't know what path i should take next in 10 years to help me get there. im in my early 20s. Love your vids!
