Cyberdramon ACE fixes the free play a tamer problem the deck has. I get the appeal of the Marvin combo, but not sure I’d play him in a conventional stack building deck.
Regarding Supreme Connection vs Black Memory Boost vs Defense Training: my take for each option is that each fits with a specific kind of Machinedramon build. I'm currently testing Supreme Connection with Zoo-styled decks and getting alot of use out of it. On the contrary, it doesn't play well with my Stack-styled deck, hence why I choose to use Defense Trainings as well. Black Memory Boost, while a mainstay for awhile for me, has been regulated as filler. The search is solid if I'm looking for a lvl 6 and memory is alway good for Machinedramon. However, if I know how I want my deck to perform, I'll run those options before that nowadays. Food for thought.
I had to hard play a Dorumon mid to late game once just to put out another body to push for game next turn, and to pass turn on low memory. I expected nothing but you have to search because it's mandatory, and I did indeed get one of the two Chaosdramon X's. I think it only works when you don't care if you get him or not.
running 3-4 bt15 airdramon, 3-4 marvin jacksons, and 2 bt15 megadramon helps machinedramon's early game and consistency SO much though. hardplaying airdramon for 5 is great value if you cheat out a free marvin with it, and it gives reboot allowing you to cut lvl 5 reboot sources. with marvin tucked it gives you free a jamminng poke at security while de-digivolving opponents digimon. marvin has amazing synergy with dorumon, giving you a free draw +1 when you mind link since you are technically tucking a source under, and also gives you free pokes with jamming, or giving you precious time to halt early-game aggression with blocker. evoing or hardplaying megadramon isn't bad either if you are lucky and cheat out a free marvin also, and with marvin he gives a free jab at security with jamming while popping a tamer or rookie using this build gives you the option to not only hardplay rookies, but your champions/ultimates are also not bad to hard play if you brick, giving the deck much stronger and consistent early game
love machinedramon so seeing new support made me happy, the only thing id like to see in the list is either a marvin or a zubagan . i look forward to seeing future lists
Imo I just dont think it adds anything to the deck, sure the extra draw and 2k dp is nice but I don't think it justifies taking another cards spot in the deck. Like the list is already very tight with how many level 5s you have to play, if you really wanna try it you could cut down one of the analog and a mem boost! That's just my thought on it!
