Mackerel fishing at Jodrey State Fish Pier, Gloucester, MA (11/6, 2022)

Fished on November 6. Usually, mackerel fishing is hot in November at the pier in Gloucester, MA. Biting was very slow today. We caught only 10 mackerels. We enjoyed Pan Frying, Sashimi, and Hot&Spicy Male Fish Soup using the fresh mackerels.

Great video, are you concerned with parasites in the fish at all? I always want to use my catch for sushi but am worried about parasites since the fish isn't frozen. Is there a way to check the fish?

Biting was slow two weeks ago (11/6). Bitings would be better in mid November. I think it the right timing to to there. Good luck, Wilvert.

버지니아 사시는군요. 지난 여름에 갈치잡으러 버지니아 한번 내려가본적 있어요. 약 10시간 정도 걸리더군요 ㅋ. 북동부에서 삼치나 갈치가 잡히는 것은 아직 못봤습니다.
