Also I’ve used two of these for PA, but use a small mixer with it that has reverb and delay. Or I’ve plugged a guitar direct into channel one and a mic into channel two and add another SRM-150 and it spreads the sound around pretty damn Good. No effects but for small coffee house gig, perfect.
I agree you could add an external effects processor to the setup. Which would probably be the ideal setup for a solo acoustic performer as it would allow greater control over effects. But I do think a basic built in reverb would be a nice addition for version 2 if they choose to update this product. Maybe even add a 1/4" input jack in the back for a foot pedal to turn the reverb on and off. I use this product for karaoke and I try to keep things as simple as possible for the people I send out to do gigs.
I have two, you can run in stereo or split signal for monitor. I’ve had my two for about 10 yrs now and just finally experienced a problem w one. The circuit board now needs replacing .
