MACKINAW CITY Motorcycle Rally, Tunnel of Trees, Fatality on the bridge

i was 40 or 50 bikes behind the poor guy that got killed on the bridge. it was really bad. he did not suffer at all, he went home instantly. he was north bound on a trike, he hit the metal median and jumped head on into a ford f150 in the south bound lane at around 65 mph ! people were driving way to fast on the bridge.

Looks like a blast. Someday I would like to ride across the Mac.

What I heard was the rider who died on the bridge was 78 years old and a medical issue may have been a contributing factor, to the crash, possibly a stroke.

The restaurant you passed in Cross Village with the legs on the roof is a great place to stop

When is this rally this year? This is my first year on an actual motorcycle, and while I definitely don’t ride the best or most powerful bike, (a 2002 Honda Rebel 250) this event really seems fun

I rode up with 2 buddies I met from Instagram, then rode to the soo to my buddy that lives there and never did the rally I'm trying to make it this year
