Here is the step:
1. Cut four pieces of cord, and 2 piece of cord
2. Tie the cords together with a knot
3. Separate the cords into pairs and tie each pair into a lark knot
4. Take one cord from one pair and one cord from the adjacent pair and tie them together in a double knot. Repeat this process with the remaining cords until you have tied each cord to its neighbor in a double knot.
5. Continue this pattern of double knots until the coaster is the desired size. (Note: A typical car coaster is approximately 2.5-3 inches in diameter.)
6. Tie off the cords with a knot and trim any excess.
