Nice.only one question.you have all this gear and you are not using a remote for the shutter.isn’t this produce a vibration?

I was inspired by your video and gave it a shot. My first time editing double exposure. Turned out great I feel for my first try.

Thanks for this great idea and excellent tutorial Andrew. I will give it a try. It was good to see the pile of matches as a reminder that it takes perseverance to get it right!

In the end I photographed some candle flames and snuffed one out for the smoke. It took a while but I got there. Thanks again for the idea.

Andrew what a great tutorial. I will soon be using my new Laowa 100 mm to take a picture of a small flame. Great inspiration. Thanks for your effort.

Andrew I tried but with a very small candle and I managed to make a special photo of it. You have had an inspiring effect on me and my Canon D90 / Laowa 100mm. My family is crazy about all burned out matches and candles. But I just keep going to get even more out of it. Thank you for your humble, wonderful and educational tutorial.

why don't you use a shutter release cable so your not touching the camera while your shooting?

Liked and subscribed, wow. I wish I could have the time to learn Photoshop, it looks so easy when PRO´s like you use it. Great video and great result! I will try macro with my extension tubes, (I never used them 🙈)

Thanks so much! Hopefully this video has given some easy pointers on how to do similar things yourself. I found Photoshop baffling when I first started years ago but it was only by reading guides and watching tutorial videos that I was able to learn new skills and practice them to understand more what I'm doing. Practice makes perfect!

Fly in the ointment here but as a 68 year old, new to photography and therefore to Lightroom and Photoshop, I find the speed with which you jump from place to place with the cursor very hard to keep up with. Of course I can replay and replay but that kind of takes the enjoyment out of the moment . When the cursor seems to simply disappear, it might take a good while to see it move again or to see it's position. I did write to you once before asking for help for absolute beginners but have heard nothing back from you. Perhaps a response to this one?? Mant thanks.

dude trying to get in your videos but your endless comentry is a big hazard...i gave up because after spending 10 precious minutes you were still there where you started..nearly 30 minutes for showing up this kind of macro shot is too much...trust me you could have more views and followers if you focus to deliver the information in least time..this video would be worth watching if its max duration was arrond three minutes..take this as a suggestion only, rest is entirely up to you..
