How to stabilise oil drops? Unable to understand

You need to apply a very small amount of degreasing dish soap to the top of the water. You can do this by dipping a fork in the soap and lightly swirling around the top of the water. This will make the drops separate. So you can move them around. The syringe is very important for making the drops smaller or larger and moving them around. I hope this helps. I’d love to see the results you’re getting somehow.
