very happy to see more examples of macro usecases. I have never had such freedom with minecraft functions and because of this just can't wrap my head around macros at all. It was a struggle all the time and you had to think outside of the box to come up with the solution for dynamic stuff. Now no more and it's actually kind of sad X)

If u need to link entities or lists of entities it is useful

@@Cl0udWolf that is def true and in the future when i get better at map making and more comfterable with using entities for more then just detection this will become more and more usefull however atm i havent been linking entities together all that much.

Can you take the string form of a mob's UUID from an already existing one? I only know how to take the integer version.

Why not just spawn an entity with a custom UUID and select it like that?

Clearly that is what’s happening it’s just for an arbitrary system where you don’t know the uuid ahead of time. Do u know how annoying it would be to make every entity in ur world need a uuid which u hand typed and hand pasted code in? And most projects can’t even do that for how they r meant to function

​@@Cl0udWolf ok im make datapacks too, but you make it on different level. On this week i made simple mob respawn datapack. It uses book in mob right hand, to save nbt. After death mob will respawn if someone drop totem. If this is not done within a minute, the soul (invisible item, particles) will be destroyed. How can i made it works better or that i need to fix? help pls.

This isn’t exactly my code I’m just showing that you can select UUIDs via macro, the actual library to get the uuid is not mine so not up to me
