I have watched many videos of the 4th. As you go look, this video is clear with full spectrum. See in the background the whole show front and back. Crazy good video. Not the best firework show I've seen NY do. Never less it's still up there. Thanks for the share

Thank you for posting this. After 20 plus years of tuning into NBC to see the Macy's fireworks show, they decided in 2022 they needed to focus more than ever on their multi- stage singing and dance performers during the fireworks and completely ruining the experience with their back and forth camera views. It's all about the fireworks for those of us around the country who can't come to New York. Next year from now on I'll only be coming to youtube to see the fireworks.

Yup, that video is posted in the related videos on the right. I definitely agree with you there, Bob!! That said, I still have the 2023 show set to record tomorrow, at least for the performances beforehand. I wonder how my new dog is going to handle the noise. He handled the local Canadian fireworks just fine, and they're not this extravagant.

Thank you so much I watched a few videos but this one is awesome I'm from New Jersey and I've seen the Macy's fireworks a few times I live in Colorado now they put them up one at a time whoop-dee-doo but it was nice but I'm watching this and enjoying it thank you so much, no one does it like NYC

Sorry to hear about the service outage which must have been beyond frustrating for you - had a feeling that was likely to be the case at the time but that you would still record if able to, and sure enough you've done a first class job here! The perfect viewing position you secured, your sound setup, framing and subtle camera work all combine to grant the viewer an almost one-to-one intimacy with the spectacle - and dare I say it even has a somewhat relaxing quality as a result? Hope you could still savour the experience despite the telecommunications issues. Thanks very much for sharing this, and really looking forward to your next stream!
