This lesson was inspired by another art teacher on a facebook group (sorry, I don't remember your name, if you're out there!)
We start by reading Balloons Over Broadway, a book about the Macy's day parade.
This lesson is made for students in 3rd-5th grade, but can also be adapted for younger or older students as well. I talk a lot about emphasis in this video.
(Note: I accidentally say Balloons Over Brooklyn in the video, oops. I was close!)
