From the League of Augsburg laboratory.... the evolution of Mad for War - large fleet action rules! A run through the ideas and some of the mechanics in a short test game.
A constructive approach to handling larger fleet actions with minimal players. Such a fabulous genre. I found Fox's book on the Four Days a brilliant read and utterly inspiring. I seldom play this period in naval actions but when I do, I stick to small actions and have the Langton range. The ships were just so much more beautiful than 100+ years on. Excellent series ... keep 'em coming please. HNY.
Thanks Gee. I used Fox as a reference in the playtesting and will continue to do so. Hope to have so 3d versions to play with soon. Working on that now! HNY!
Thanks for teaching us a little more about the rules on such a special day. Very good year! And many happy times with your playmates, friends and family!
Off white undercoat. Khaki or similar base coat, highlight in light ochre or buff or similar and keep highliighting up to a pale sand. Then tone it down and soften it with a flood of soft tone army painter.
