I'm sitting somewhere in brazil, listening to this song and thinking about how far we africans are from home, hope africa can reach it's peak, what it's supposed to be and not what it is.

wehhh papi God , i am a cameroonian and remember when i was still very little hearing this song back in Africa. times have changed , this was when songs were sang from the heart and it made more sense than the onces i hear today. I could trade my life right now to relive those days of old. rip mad melon gone but your legacy lives on and it will never be forgotten.
When I was six years old I can remember my late brother use to sang this song for me when I feel like to cry. Rest well blood brother. Much love. Still in 2020
He loved this song so much! Not because he lived in the ghetto, No. He was born into poverty and with God on his side and hard work, he became a force to reckon with. He beat poverty hands down. Grew in his career, made a success of it. This music always refreshed his soul. After working so hard, made a first class, got good career in banking, sent his younger ones to school and time to start relaxing and enjoying his life, Nigeria happened to him and he was cut down in his prime by UG! Wasted! Continue to rest in peace, Henry!!! Gentle Giant. Loved by all
