What a truly magnificent Planet we live on.. This was an utterly brilliant piece of work! Sadly as always, in the end, the future of all life, and the beauty of this extraordinary Planet will depend on the ability of the human species to act together to save it from the very destruction they cause.. I have more faith in the animals great and small, to better save this Planet than the Human.. Why are we so bloody destructive to everything that gives us life? 😥😥

Surah Insan indexed with number 76, number of verses 31 1 Indeed a period of time has passed, that man did not exist at all as something mentioned. 2 We created man from a mixture of water to test him, so We made him hear and see. 3 We guided him to the right path, and he will be either grateful or contemptible. 4 We have prepared for the disbelievers chains, shackles and fire. 5 There is no doubt that the pious will drink from the cup in which the mixture is from the kafur (aromatic). 6 It is a well from which the slaves of Allah drink and carry it wherever they wish. 7 They are the ones who keep their promises and fear a day whose harm is great. 8 They are the ones who give food to the poor, orphans and captives for His sake. 9 We feed you only for the sake of Allah, and we do not ask you for any reward or thanks. 10 We fear our Lord on a day when the faces will be gloomy and hard. 11 But Allah saved them from the strife of that day, and bestowed on their faces radiance and joy. 12 And because they persevered, He rewarded them with Paradise and silk garments. 13 Therein are they reclining on couches, and there they see neither sun (heat) nor cold. 14 Their shadows are near them, and the hollows of the trees are near. 15 And they shall be served with silver vessels and with clear glasses. 16 Translucent from the silver which they (the servants) determined to be sufficient (large or small). 17 And they are given there to drink glasses of wine mixed with ginger (aromatic plants). 18 (from) A spring called selsebil (easy to drink). 19 And to them are brought young men for service, who are always such that when you look at them they look like spilled pearls. 20 And when you look there, you see great prosperity and great possession (property, wealth). 21 They are clothed in fine linen and green silk (satin), and thick silk (brocade); they are adorned with silver bracelets, and their Lord gives them pure drink. 22 This is your reward, because your commitment has been present. 23 We have revealed to you the Qur'an at intervals. 24 So be patient until the decision of your Lord, and do not listen to sinners or unbelievers. 25 Worship your Lord morning and evening. 26 And pray for His sake at a time of night, then worship Him even longer. 27 Indeed, they (the idolaters) love this life very much, and they do not take the hard day that awaits them. 28 We created them, and We perfected their creation, and if We willed, We could have destroyed them and brought others better than they. 29 Verily, this is a reminder, and whoever takes the path that leads to his Lord. 30 But you do not want anything unless Allah wills, and Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. 31 He it is Who admonishes whom He wills, and has prepared for the wrongdoers a painful punishment.

everyone should have the freedom to like or dislike. Not everyone like all kinds of animals. some people hates cockroach, rat... how many people talk about protecting those animals? if we can kill 1 kind, why can't we make it fair to other kinds? so, if you like it, you don't kill them, but for those who don't, they should have the right to do what they want too.

Humans need to use birth control if populations like in Madagascar are to save themselves from outgrowing what their environment can sustain. Even more so on a planetary level for our whole species. It's an inconvenient quirk of humankind that the LESS wealth of resources a population has to support children, the more rapidly they reproduce out of control and suffer more for it. It's progress on a social level that's needed to cure the devastation our species reaps on our world.

@@anthonypc1 Your original post here is totally right. If governments are unwilling to restrict runaway overpopulation, they need to be voted out. The entire world is so very greatly threatened by it! I remember when we had almost 6 billion people worldwide, and the scientists were saying what an awful threat 6 billion would be. Well they were right, but now we are already at nearly 8 billion, and in no time we will soon be at TEN BILLION! We were already in a crisis at half that population! When on earth is somebody going to take some responsibility for it?! The ONLY good thing about the rapid Americanization of the Western countries is that their people are not reproducing as rapidly as they are in other places, for example in Africa and South America. It would also make a huge difference if the Catholic Church would wake the hell up, and allow birth control. We desperately need to not just stop the rapid increase, but to actively start decreasing the population of all countries! This is an urgent problem. And it greatly impacts global warming too. No matter what the impact is on economies, we desperately need to REDUCE ALL POPULATIONS OF PEOPLE!
