They liked his tune, and he started dreaming but his future- hence the reason for the orchestra in the beach. How ever before each paragraph of the song starts we are brought back to reality where they show that he is still on auditions playing the tune we heard with funky guitars and drums. He has convinced the group by playing the tune with just a harmonium.
