My headcanon is that all these celebrities go to Madame Tussauds to compete to see who could do the silent treatment to fans the longest. This London location is impressive and all...just don't show Henry VIII pictures of his wives
I wanted to let you know something. I've become a big fan of yours in the last year or so. I watch almost all of your Vlogs. The other day, as part of my connection with my former website, I accidentally went down a bit of a rabbit hole and found out some stuff about the history of your channel and a difficult time you had. I'm not gonna mention anything about that, but I wanted to let you know that I think you made the right choice back in 2020, not only was it the professional and moral thing to do, but as I've tried to watch older vlogs which featured more people, and I'll be honest, you have got the golden formula right now and I truly hope you start heading towards a million subs and more. Regardless of why the format was changed, I truly believe that your vlogs are at the best right now with just the two of you, and the focus seems much more on letting us live your travels through our screens than watching a bunch of antics that can be distracting. Shawn you seem like a lovely guy, Charlotte you really add a lot to the vlogs too, and you both clearly make so many people happy, and that's all that matters now. Sorry for putting this on a random video, but I felt I needed to say it. One thing about this video - Justin Bieber looks like they just stole a dummy from Debenhams.
I wish I was worthy of a wax figure at the Madame Tussauds in Orlando. Though I feel the reason why I haven't gotten one is because my head is too shiny and would just blind everyone
Fabulous video vlog TPW of what is of of London’s great attractions. It’s changed so much since I was last there in the late 90s. Just love that Spirit Of London ride just how good is that. Top work Shawn and Charlotte 😉👍
Excellent video Charlotte and Shawn from Madame Tussauds London and take you on a full tour of what to expect inside this famous Wax Museum. Located on Baker Street, this popular tourist attraction first welcomed visitors in 1835 and is still going strong today! In this vlog, we check out all of the different wax figures on display inside Madame Tussauds London as of November 2022. We also check out the new Chamber Of Horrors, take a ride on The Spirit Of London, and much more! keep the good videos coming to the channel. I can't wait to see the next video on the channel.
Lol Shawn they should just put them on a moving floor and come out of number 10 lol been to the wax works at blackpool but this does look great fab vlog as always xx
Shawn and Charlotte, That's so different from what I saw in 1971. I remember Bob Hope as one of the figures and Pele. It is so awesome now including that ride at the end. I wish I could be there! Cheers, Rik
Great vlog, love madame tussauds London it my favourite, can't wait to go again, chambers of horrors looks really immersive, sprit of London is so iconic.
The last time I was there would of been in the 1970's. Really lovely to see. There is one celebrity couple missing however, the two guys from Theme Park World Wide....
Our first visit was earlier this year and I was (pleasant) surprised they had an indoor dark ride! The smell pods were a highlight but it was all very well put together. I’d only ever visited Blackpool’s version before but they really don’t compare at all!
Wether or not it was your first visit, I know people that have never been but know of the Dark Ride: Spirits of London! It has been there since 1993 and been advertised loads since then on TV adverts., documentaries, when talked about when we had Teletext/Ceefax, spoke about on Radio, in pics in mags/papers, overhearing people talk about it etc I'm very confused/shocked how you didn't know 😲😲
I still remember from my childhood the chamber of horrors at Blackpool. Should of had a age rating of 18+ for that one. Execution sound of head’s getting chopped off (you can seriously hear the blade going down and the crowd in shock), body bags hanging from the ceiling and a witch story at the end. Oddly it has before famous horror character in chamber of horrors.
Great video guys. Haven’t been there for about 20 years. How it’s approved. The chamber of horrors is stunning as is the Spirit of London ride. Much better than I remember 😊
Another nice and amazing vlog, really enjoyed and interesting to see new changes & upgrades. Never seen or visited Madame Tussauds, but one day might do? Do you think maybe next could be either a shooting ride like Tomb Blaster? Or a coaster with Wax Works built around elements? Maybe a family coaster? Or a boat ride? Possibility? Or not? But anyways, really interesting, really enjoyed and cheers. 😀👍
I've been following you guys for the past week , brilliant videos and descriptions of everything.you 2 seem so great 🤗 enjoying watching your videos and seeing more to come .
I like the way they designed this so you are free to wander but there is a beginning and end to keep visitors moving. Merlin did a great people mover design and nice coverage Shawn and Charlotte!
I'm still crying over the fact that the London Madame Tussauds removed the One Direction wax figures for SEVEN WHOLE YEARS, how DARE they remove my favorite boys ever
Madame Tussauds London has changed a lot since the last time i visited this attraction back 2015. I went to London for the day by train & also went on the London Eye & the London Dungeon with my Premium Merlin Annual Pass that i had at the time. And the spirit of London ride was really enjoyable. I also had a great day out in London at the time. I also love using the London Underground (aka The Tube) when I'm there as well.
The old Chamber of horrors scared the life out me, didn’t see the signs about live actors. Sure it was up charge in the early 2000’s. I still have the mug from there.
Oh that place is amazing! I been to the tiny one in Niagara Falls Canada yrs ago but it cant even compare to London's . I was hoping to see a Dr Who display lol
26:44 I loved the dark ride at Madame Tussauds London. Never been outside the United States, but I am going on that ride my first visit to the UK. Looks like a mini Spaceship Earth ride since both rides deal with history hundreds of years ago.
Hey Shawn and Charlotte awsome video by the way, I went here with my mum on the 13th of February this year it was Very busy and we didn't get to see the pop section or the chamber of horrors, we had to skip the 4D cinema as I did not like it the first time we went and it was not the film it was the effects.
I remember they had louis tussauds in Blackpool and they had such a cool horror section with the horror icons like pinhead I wish more of these museums had that
Charlotte would do a brilliant job as prime minister. Need to do another visit next year to great Yarmouth pleasure Beach as the log flume ride is going is winter and in the place of the log flume they are putting in a Musik express ride
I went to Madame Tussauds recently, but I sadly wasn't able to enjoy it due to having a sensory condition. I do not recommend it for anyone with a sensory condition, there's a lot of bright and flashing lights and it can get very loud, especially in three certain attractions, the Alien walkthrough, Chamber of Horrors and the London Taxi ride. While all have warnings for such things, only the Chamber of Horrors has sensory conditions listed in its list of conditions not recommended to enter. I personally had a horrible moment of sensory overload half way through the Alien walkthrough and was unable to continue. I skipped Chamber of Horrors, but the Taxi ride got a bit overwhelming in a few places. It's not a very accessible place, but I recommend it for people who are interested in the wax figures. Also, you mentioned wanting something similar to the Alien walkthrough for the queue line of Alton Tower's upcoming indoor ride, but I'm going to have to disagree due to accessibility. Smiler's queue line is already sensory hell, I've almost passed out multiple times while queuing. I wouldn't want mine or anyone else's experiences with Alton Towers newest ride ruined due to sensory overload during queuing. For those who may be thinking of the disability queue line, not all of us are able to use that queue line or would rather not for a multitude of reasons.
Always remember 1986 my mum N dad took me and I was only 6 … back then benny hill stood in the foyer welcoming guests and at that point I bricked it and after dad paid ti get in I refused to get off the fooor as I was so scared lol . I saw the planetarium too . Also was a fake gift shop half way thru where my dad went o pay for a stick of rock and was trying to hand his cash to the wax work shop worker lolol. Back then the chamber was more gruesome with lots of old torture devices present and had a more genuinely frightening feeling to it . Other classic waxworks of the time included boy George ,daily Thompson and kenny everate. Always wanted to visit rock circus too in the trocedero but it sadly closed by the time I could make it .
What happened to the disc spinner at london dungeon So glad they got a decent chamber of horrors I hope blackpool gets this its decent merlins good with scent.shrek us great
Did you enjoyed the Spirit of London Ride & the Chambers of Horror Experiance Ride at the Madame Tussauds.😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎠🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🎡🚇🚇🚇🚇🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢
I genuinely believe, unless you are a tourist, anyone who intentionally spends money on going to see a load of waxworks that VAGUELY look like a celebrity, must have some kind of learning difficulty or easily entertained.
I think the reason why everybody doesn’t need to take a photo with Brad Pitt because he has got greasy hair. Like when you have said that it gets more stuffy as it needs more air conditioning, my dad helps me about air pollution. Anyhow, make sure you and Charlotte get out there and keep on riding.
