From the "Nobody Asked For This" file. This is supposed to be Ezekiel Sims, who isn't even a Spider-Man or an alternate universe version of Spider-Man. He had similar powers of Spider-Man, but gained them supernaturally and then set-up Peter Parker to pay the price for Ezekiel Sims usurping powers that weren't his to steal. At the last minute, Ezekiel saved Peter Parker, realizing that Peter was the better man. Ezekiel Sims was a multi-layered individual and he redeemed himself at the end of his story. Ezekiel Sims has NOTHING to do with Madam Web or the other Spider-Women and, from what I am seeing here, it looks like this movie is doing him dirty. I can only imagine the pitch meeting: It's the Evil White Male Patriarch Spider-Man coming to snuff out all the future Spider-Women, just because he's a President Trump supporter. Go with God and Be Safe from Evil. 😎 👍

I thought that this looked so cheesy to be honest like a CW show 😐 Not something that I would see at the theaters unfortunately. What impressed me was your reaction Michelle 👍🏻

I watched Morbius. I was looking forward to it but was not a fan of the film. I enjoyed the Morbius character in the comics he appeared in back in the 70s and 80s. I remember Madame Web being a lot older in the comics, so I am unsure what to make of the film. The 90s Spider-man animated series was brilliant and Morbius and Madame Web was featured, updating the storyline from the comics. It was very well done.

Nailed it 🖒 It's as though you've read my mind when saying it's more interesting than The Marvels. The movie seems to give off a Spider-Man meets Final Destination vibe. Dug both film franchises back in the early 2000's. So long as the SFX is done right.. motion capture / CGI as opposed to full CGI rubber / floaty heroes and villains. Given the trailer the movie seems worth the watch.

This could be, potentially, interesting but ill wait to see more before deciding. But this looked more like a tv show. At least for a teaser trailer

Thanks Michelle. I think tjis is the woman from 50 shades of grey . ( i suffered through the first one ) It seems a bit like groundhog day but a superhero movie.

You're doing yourself a favour by not watching Morbius. Morbius and Venom 1 are movies that I deem so bad, it's not funny, it's just forgettable. I legit cannot remember much of anything that happened in either movie and both movies have villains with similar powers whose names I can't remember or even how they got their powers. Venom 2 was a improvement in that I actually remember the story and characters and the character dynamics in that movie actually played a important plot point. Kraven honestly looks like it's going to be Venom 1 and Morbius level as it looks like they're using the typical "sinister six" route in that they're just going to give them Spiderman's origins and give them a generic superhero story afterwards. This I'm kind of cautiously optimistic about. The concept is unique enough to have potential and they didn't foolishly gave away what their storyline is. The fact the movie doesn't appear to be a CGI fest might also be a good indicator it's more character and story driven then normal. Plus I read the director after being added to production hired two other women to help her rewrite the story and script (it was originally by the Morbius writers!). This was well before the Morbius movie came out. So the fact she read the script and can tell it was bad (presumably considering the original writers), then had it rewritten is a good sign right? EDIT: Actually looked up the director more and see she's been nominated for a handful of awards including her work on Netflix's Jessica Jones and the Defenders. Again cautiously optimistic.

They dont have spiderpowers... yet. Ezekiel is hunting people who will one day have spider powers.

I never heard of this one. Have I been living under a rock? Morbius was basically a Hulk retelling. I was a bit bored personally. 🤷🏼‍♂️ However this looks incredible.

I'm with you- Kraven is not "calling to me" either. Comic book movie fatigue is REAL. MCU is killing the actual Marvel Universe. I felt exactly the same that this looked totally WB. Think I'll pass on this one unless future trailers reveal something epic.

My understanding is that she worked with Spider-Man it would have been nice if he was involved. Could be good time will tell.😮

@Force of Light Entertainment Hello Michelle,🤗🌼 like you I am a complete normie when it comes to the spiderverse. I am clueless about Venom and Morbious. I hadn't heard of Madame Web. I agree that it looks a tad more interesting than the Marvels and I am also over the superhero era at the moment as there is a saturation of it. I will wait to watch it ( download it). I have heard comments that here we go again, another female centric movie.

I looked at the cast and it is another top heavy female cast. I am getting the feeling that Hollywood is trying to phase out dudes altogether! 🙂

Michelle, you did not miss anything by not seeing Morbius and it sounds like you’re not craving to see Kraven. It might be an OK movie but then again, I just might wait until it comes to streaming. Depends on what kind of other trailers come out for it.

I remember the comic character and this is very different. I’m intrigued though as it seems a bit different from the normal. I’d like to see another cut of the trailer though before deciding fully. And Mrs en I have NO INTEREST in seeing to be honest.

❤ The title makes it sound like the lead character is either old or the head of a brothel 😳 😂 Only good show on CW was most of ARROW and SMALLVILLE back in gather day IMO. So if it’s not even better than the best CW show judging from the clip, I will pass on this one for now keeping an open mind to see if the next trailer pulls me in

I thought it looked intended for streaming. I did look like I’d see it at home but not a theater going level kind of flick. Again… I never heard of this.

Hey Michelle! May I say, you look stunning! My poor heart, lol! 😂 I'm not sure if or how this fits into the Marvel/ DC universe, if it does but it looks somewhat interesting. It seems to in some way, reflect the spiderman universe so I'm only guessing it has something to do with that. Having said that, she seems to have a different gift than what I would expect of a spiderwoman so I'm somewhat confused. I just hope they don't pack it with a lot of woke nonsense or it will be a terrible failure as we are seeing with many movies today. For that, I guess I'll have to wait and see. I couldn’t have said it better myself I am definitely over mediocre movies. They need to be great. Did like a WB show good pick up Michelle! I have all the comics Michelle literally all over 6000. Going to be watching guardians of the Galaxy three on Blu-ray today in 5.1 sound. They really need to take a page out of James Gunn’s book and make a quality movie.

ok it looks crap but im not a spiderman fan and it looks like it would be confusing to watch kinda reminds me of happy death day also i thought i recognised one of the girls the black girl shes in ghostbusters afterlife its funny that the 4 girls are all meant to be teenagers but not 1 of them is under 20

this is giving me cheesy CW vibes, like it was originally made as a tv show for Y/As. It feels like it's trying hard to be much cleverer than it really is, with all this Butterfly Effect meets Final Destination style. 3:19 atleast that one Spidergirl looked dank though still.

Sony has, so far, had the best track record with recent superhero movies, in my opinion. True, they've had no masterpieces lately, but they've been consistently engaging - the 'Spider-Verse' movies, the 'Venom' flicks; even 'Morbius' is entertaining in a guilty pleasure sort of way. They put out interesting Spider-films, and this looks interesting, too - I'm looking forward to it.

Good video,but the film will definitely be bad at the level of The Marvels and it is completely different from the comics and looks more like a film version of the Tru Calling series with Eliza Dushku and Jason Priestley

Colour me interested at least. Don't know anything about the comic book character either, but the trailer did it's job and caught my attention. Not enough to confirm I will buy a ticket, but I will at least keep an eye out for any future trailers or review. Nice one Michelle, thanks! By the way I don't care about Morbius, or Kraven either, but a movie that I wish Venom had spawned. Would have been one with Michelle Williams reprising her role as Anne Weying and for whatever reason the plot can come up with. She is hosting and being the female Venom like she was, way to briefly for my tastes in the first movie! Kind of like I wish, like others, that the MCU had given us a Black Widow, Hawkeye film that included what happened in Budapest!👍😂

I don't know how I feel about this one and kraven the hunter. Maybe they should bring these characters into Spider-Man first and then makes ben-off films of them so people know who they are if they haven't read up on them

I'm pretty much over the super hero trope as well as girl bossery. So that is a double no for me.

Outside of actual Spider-Man/Spiderverse movie's I've haven't been happy with the other Sony Spider-Man character movie's. Didn’t like Venom 1,2 haven't seen Morbuis and i think the box office would have been better for Kraven if the original release date was around the same time as the release of Spider-Man 2 videogame where Kraven plays a prominent role.

Meh. I'm not a Dakota Johnson fan (especially after 50 shades). Another movie with a bunch of chicks in it, not sure I can handle that again after The Marvels.

Maybe it is time for me to stop watching movies? Then again there are *The Drinker Recommends 🎥s.*

It looks pretty good! Shows how to give female leads a movie they deserve, rather than pandering crap.

They really do seem to have money to throw around and waste. The trailer is weak and the dialogue was so useless. Michelle's reaction had more power. I'll get more entertainment from the reactions/reviews and the $$s it's going to lose. Go back to raw grit and less forced crappy comedy lines. Cheer's Gorgeous.x 🇬🇧
